Strategic issues/question regarding my Fraudfillter set up with Voluum

Thanks in advance for the effort!

FF have so far done well for me. However, they help with technical issues, not strategies – hence my thread/question....

Short story - is there something wrong with my setup?

1.My main question is whether I should submit my safepage.com url instead of creating a Voluum one and submitting it. Do networks distinguish (from a risk profile) if a tracking link is submitted instead of just the safepage.url? They see the safepage.url anyway, but does the tracking url signify something? Also, is there a data collection (for my future optimization on campaigns) issue I'm missing?

2.Next question - I also create separate campaigns for desktop and mobile because the Pageguard function only works for one campaign/lander at a time - do you bite the bullet and use the same Voluum-safe-page url for both desktop and mobile campaigns without pageguard but run the risk of someone saving your url? (easily done on adplexity I know) It saves quite a bit of time....

I use PHP paste and not JS. I’m told that it’s faster and more reliable than JS (apparently JS has quite a few clicks not ending up on the lander because the redirects take too long) but easily caught on Adplexity/others and by reviewers (whereas JS is better at hiding). No problem with this trade-off so far, not a huge spender or especially innovative yet ().

In PHP set ups – there are different ways of doing it. Here is the way I do it....

--- I have 1 SAFE page with a voluum url – "voluum-safe-url". On this page, safepage.com, I have the php script and FF have the filepath to it. In the "testing integration part of the FF setup" I put this "voluum-safe-url", and not the real safepage.com url. This means that I submit this "voluum-safe-url" to the networks (RevC and MGID in this case).

---1 money page with a voluum url – "volum-money-url".

So on Voluum... I can see the views to the safe page (A LOT more views than what comes from how much native networks send me - bots, good and bad); I can also see what percentage of traffic comes to the money page vs the safe page - thereby comparing which widgets are "dodgy", as some send most of the traffic to the safepage (as determined by FF by how safe the viewer is).

Also, the money page views are counted within the safepage views (so safe page minus money page = real safe page views) discounted for how many viewers the network says it has sent me.

All the best, dls123
