Which Path should i take? So confused... (2)

First month of affiliate marketing 
Happy to say i went through the 1$ guide by vortex ( which i actually enjoyed doing!)
Then i went half way through the 40 day guide also by vortex up to the point of starting to work with landing pages and got unmotivated.
I went through the forum and read that POP/PUSH is not the way to make real money anymore (not sure if its true its just the feeling i got).
And i really feel like i want to expertise in something specific (pop/push/facebook/native/anything else i didn't even hear about yet)
but i don't know which of these is worth getting into?
Im willing to put all my time and money into it i just don't want to spend money and learn stuff that dont work anyone or can't replace my current income.
Ill be glad to know which of those are you using?
I feel your pain. I'm a bit in the same boat. It feel like it that the more I read and learn the more confused I get.
