Hey guys, have got couple Q's. Working with NSFW and finally want to try ME vertical.
How is it going during all this lockdown?
And can you please recomend affiliate programs, which have wide variety of Tier 2 countries?

From the NSFW verticals that I have experience with:
- dating still converts just fine, but several affiliates have reported increased lead quality problems. So people are still signing up, but they are converting to paid members on a bit lower scale... could be related to the pandemic situation, since it's not really possible to meet with others in the real world in this situation. But generally speaking, dating works even during the pandemic.
- live cams & live chat works pretty well, even some dating sites are using this angle now, and it seems to perform just well.
- ME didn't really change much in performance, at least based on the info that I have.
- paid content sites seem to work a bit better than before, it's likely because people are stuck at home and consume more content online. This means more traffic on adult sites and also a bit more memberships sold in general.
- adult games are on the rise for the past few months or maybe even years, along with VR content sites... it's a bit more recent format so it's likely to grow some more.
Penis is way oversold on all adult traffic for past 2-3 years.
Even on 2-3rd tier geos.
Your best bet if you wanna go into pussyland is dating.
Clean your placements on that one (especially soi/doi) then maybe proceed to penis.
Anyone saying penis is working nicely (good volume + nice ROI) is either:
- associated with the aff network
- posting old stats
- set up tracker wrong
- owner of adult website - so he has 0 cost
- uses offers with billing practices that will get you personal penis time in jail's shower
- lying

Sorry yes, talking about adult traffic only, but all of formats available on adult:.. display, members, email, push, pop, preroll..
9 out of 10 times.. dating will win over ME easily.. by a factor..
Penis still works perfectly fine and converts nicely on all non-adult traffic (fb,goog if you can get away with it.. email/sms if product is new to list. push if subs are new, media buy on news portals, native etc..)
all other things are fine and normal..
But on adult its completely oversold..It was very good market like 2-3 years ago on 2nd -3rd tier geos..first on big eu geos like Italy, then on smaller eastern eu geos,
lastly on asian geos.. but then it got completely oversold.
It takes around 6-18 months (depending on geo size) to saturate a geo with penis offers, but all available geos got saturated 1+ year ago..
Its a desert now..
Much much easier to make dating green..on adult

Could be a number of explanations for that:
a) merchant is advertising on his own (the margins are higher then) or using an affiliate / agency which he dont plan to pay when the invoice comes
b) merchant is using adult traffic as brand marketing tool (eg if he runs native or has product in gas stations.. (not lately lol), adult is an insanely cheap way to keep eyeballs on product - en masse)
c) iamatilla or adcombo or combo of both pushed users into a geo to collect commission on referalls

IF you are working with dating already,, then definitely go ahead and try it. .
but currently its just way harder to make it than dating.. and its like pissing in the wind..
the chance of not getting piss on you is the same as the chance of getting piss in the eye - 5%,
the other 90% chance is having piss wet clothes

Is there any sence to test other verticals, sweaps for example?

But it's not that simple
It's still the same regular people who you can target via facebook, or google ads or any other traffic network... they just happen to be browsing a different type of website and their motives are different too at that point. But that doesn't mean you can't convert them if you manage to use the right ad that disrupts their focus.
It all comes down to whether you can reach high-enough earning per click to fight with those who push adult offers to this traffic. Quite often it's not the case, but not always.
One thing to keep in mind... quite a lot of advertisers with "mainstream" offers don't accept adult traffic to their offers, so make sure you check this before running any such test.
To put it simple: it can work, I've done it several times in the past, but sticking to standard adult verticals when working with adult traffic is probably easier.
