Created my first website, but no traffic

Hi everyone,

I am still a newbie in here and also in AM, I went on some guides and free learning courses from other places.

I did able to applied some web hosting affiliate offers and some vpn offers, built a comparison review website.

After that, I am kind of lost, so I join here and trying to seek for advice and suggestions.

Thanks

Nicholas

Hey Nicholas,

Welcome to STM!

When a website is new, there is no traffic on it. To quickly get traffic, you have to do advertising to bring interested people.

You could for example look at day 12 and 13 of Vortex guide, that explains how to create campaigns on PopAds and PropellerAds
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ntro-and-Index

Or, if you want to promote your website though Facebook, this other guide:
https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...inner-Tutorial

Yet, have in mind that VPN and WebHosting may require lots of clicks to start to see results. How much budget do you have to start these campaigns?
It might be more interested to start following this tutorials from the beginning, and then move to VPN/Webhosting when you have a better understanding. I am following them and they are great to understand all the details.

Hi Jeremie,

Thanks for the tips, I will look into those and see. I haven't decide how much budget yet, but will try and and give it a go first for now.
One more question is, is Google ads also works the same way as Propeller Ads?

Thanks
Nicholas

If you're completely new to AM + worried about a budget you could start with SEO: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...nking-Tutorial

The cost is very low. You need only like $100 to start.

But more importantly you'll learn the basics like: web design, html/css, wordpress, copywriting, SEO. But it does take months before you get traffic to your site, but it will be 'free' traffic

I think at first it´s important to know what your website is about and what exactly are you looking for?

It's a comparison review website, with different web hosting products in there.
Trying to push traffic to my website.

Hello Nicholas,

On this part of the forum you have the different sources of traffic:
https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...raffic-Sources

Google is not the same as ProperllerAds. Fore more info on Google, you can have a look at this sub section
https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...rds-Bing-etc-)

To decide about a traffic source, you should think: who is my target client, and what is the best way to reach it?

I would advise to decide about a budget first, because based on the budget, some traffic sources will be useful or not, and the more experienced members will be able to tell you if this is realistic.

Hello Jeremie,

Thanks a lot with the advice, it really helps. I may be going to start with a small budget to test out how it goes.
