Anyone even green during COVID19?
Since being back to ppc for around 2 weeks I've lost around $2,000.
A lot of offers are just shit, even if recommended by AM.
It's got me thinking, during this time are advertisers scrubbing more, not able to monetise their back end or not able to sell leads due to call centres being closed?
What's your opinions on the advertiser being able to monetise correctly? Are you seeing good offer performance?
I've been testing push & native, my own proven funnels/angles just offers are not performing with a couple of affiliate networks..

Are you asking only for PPC or in general?

Probably it also depends a bit on the vertical you run but I personally can´t complain
I have very good campaigns running in several verticals and many different geos.
I also test different things for campaign guides and case studies that I want to post here.
For these campaigns the payouts are rather low but campaigns are doing good and there are some very stable converters that bring in between 300-400 conversions per day.
Some of the offers that I wanted to use for a campaign guide are even doing that good that I rather run them myself for at least some more time
Right now I also run some CPS offers on Push with payouts about $40 that are doing very good.

Yeah I get that it's always best, I don't mind networks taking their cut because they provide trust and security for receiving payments.
I guess if I met advertisers face to face that's the best way, otherwise - I wouldn't know how to get onboard with them.

Well that's good to hear! I've just focused on the streaming vertical, CC submits as I've had it do very well in the past, just seems like every single offer is rubbish these days. Or they start off well day one and from then on just stop converting. Which makes me think about the above regarding advertisers.
When you say 3-400 conv/day is that pops?
I've had major tunnel vision with regards to sticking to one vertical(streaming) and making it work, probably why the loss is so big.
Maybe it's time to go into another vertical

Just because something is "hot" and it doesn´t mean that it´s guaranteed to succeed with it.
I also tested streaming CC submits recently because I thought it should kill it during corona times.
Spent about $900, revenue was $215 so it was almost $700 loss.
For some affiliates it works, for others it won´t

Pop and push

Yeah that was exactly my thoughts when coming back, everyone will be streaming and a free choice would kill it. Assumptions are mostly always wrong and this proved it haha.
$537 rev for streaming, epc dropping as low as 0.10 on some offers... absolutely shit.
Well thanks for posting, glad at least something out there works. I should of known sooner to cut the vertical, but parts of me kept saying 'make it work' haha.

Yep, sometimes it´s hard to know when to stop.
In the end even our numbers for streaming CCs aren´t that bad when you take into consideration that you can make it back 100x when you have a good combination of geo/offer/Lp.
But mostly I also like to run stuff that shows more potential from the very beginning

Its good to follow your gut feeling, if you strongly believe in something for sure. But it needs to show at least a bit of potential ofcourse. Maybe you can attract direct advertisers here on STM. Also the AW conferences would be a nice outcome to meet advertisers directly.

Yeah that's my thoughts from now on, needing to see some potential from the beginning, not exactly green, just potential.

I agree 100%
I've been to conferences before but find it hard to find advertisers, affiliates yeah but I guess I need to be in/with the right crowd haha.

VPN for iOS only. On Android base, we have a really great offer for India. Perfect results on push traffic.
