Traffic Source options for Tech Portal

Hi,

I just signup today !!
I am running my own Tech News Blog site (https://www.the-next-tech.com/) from last year and i have 10k visitors/month.
I want to go in AM and writing blogs like Top Webinar tools, Top Hosting Provider Companies and I know that I need to put some efforts to make it rank on top 10 and i can do this in a month.
Also approved from some affiliate network like share sale, Commision junction etc
Approved from google news also https://news.google.com/publications...=IN&ceid=IN:en

Now the main question is that Running ads on Facebook is a better idea or will you suggest a different one as i am only know much about facebook also after checking our blog do you want to suggest your experience with us.

Thanks for reading my brief history.
Vikash

Hello

Content sites like yours have several options to build traffic.

You should focus more on the organic part, buying clicks will not necessarily increase your readership base.

1. SEO... this should be your main focus. Write articles about popular topics, so you have a chance for decent traffic once you rank.
2. Strong social media presence... your own FB, twitter, Insta ... become member of groups that are relevant and allow posting links to articles
3. Guest posting... write articles for other similar sites if they link to you
4. Be active on sites like Quora and drop your link in the answers. There is also Reddit where you can post your articles if relevant.
...

When it comes to paid promo, I would look at the options to pay some related sites to post an article from you or a review of your sites.

Next option is facebook, but make sure you target the right people that are interested into your content. Do not spend money on growing your FB page too much, organic reach is shit and most likes you will get will be from weirdos who like anything

Another option is native... put together a "Top 10 list..." of something related and try promoting it on taboola, outbrain or revcontent.

But as I said, the paid options (especially when using simple ads) will bring you people but the chances for them to become your loyal readers is fairly low. It works better if they find your site on their own, in an organic way.

Hi,

One more question that i forgot to ask with you.

AS we saw there is lot of things for affiliate like hosting companies, webinar,video making software and many more so do should we approach each company for affiliate approval or is there any affiliate provider that provides all things in a single box.

Thanks Again

I'm not sure I understand your question.

In case your asking about the particular services, then yes, individual companies usually provide individual services. So you need to sign up with a hosting company to get hosting, you need to buy subscription to some video editing software in order to be able to work with video... etc.

But there are also companies that can help with large part of the related tasks, check this thread for example: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...nd-iStack-Labs

You can definitely use facebook too, the question is what approach to choose.

Running ADs directly for your tech portal is not a good idea IMO. A better way would be to post specific articles and try to boost those. Or as I suggested, try to compile some TOP10 list or something like that and promote that on native networks or even facebook.

This article from your portal might be a good candidate actually: https://www.the-next-tech.com/entert...rself-at-home/

To put it simple, do not try to promote the tech portal (the site itself) directly, focus on specific content pieces. If you manage for some of it to go viral, that would be a huge plus for you.

In case you don't have anything to offer in exchange for the email, try the standard approach... Never miss an update/article, signup to get notified when we post new content... or something like this. Capturing emails with an exit pop works pretty well. This will work fine in case the users like your content. But consider making some kind of a freebie/ebook that you could give to the new subscribers as an incentive, that will dramatically increase the optin rate.

Building such a list and actually mailing to it everytime you post a new article can also help you to boost traffic of your site.

I was doing the same with my blog when I was still actively posting... I would just email the users when I posted a new article and it instantly resulted in a spike in traffic. You should do the same.

Once you build an engaged list, you can email affiliate offers to these users too... just make sure you don't abuse it too much or many will unsubscribe. Try to focus on offers/products of value.

I don't know much about google news feed, but from what I understand, it's similar to SEO in a way. They are looking for "something" so you need to provide it... quality content.

Here is a short article for you, that summarizes the most important things: https://moz.com/blog/how-to-get-into-google-news

HI,
We have a blog platform https://www.the-next-tech.com/ and currently have more than 10K visitor per months and continuously increasing.
We run Google Adsense and now want to move on Ezoic Ad Network, both at a same time. We created a account using our domain extension or created dashboard.
The purpose to writing to you is, we are not to run ads using Ezoic Ad Network. Although we create placement ,ads size, format in it and paste the script together with Google script in correct format but ads not showing yet.
Script format:
<!-- Ezoic - sidebar - sidebar -->
<div id="ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-102">
<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-adsense id"
data-ad-slot="numeric digit"></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
</div>
<!-- End Ezoic - sidebar - sidebar -->

Even I watch their ads video, used extension and read blog but still ads not showing.
Can you please have suggestion to us or how to move further using Ezoic Ad Network?
Thanks

I have not used ezoic ads, but after looking at their site, it seems like you need to do a few things in order for it to start working.

You need to "integrate" your DNS, apply for googleads exchange etc... have you completed all the steps listed on their "troubleshooting" list?

Check it here: https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/144
