Hello Guys,
I'm new here and i have a question which i think totally deserve for "newbie" term..
What concerns me is shouldn't i be able to see the offer page after picking up a link from AN? Now i take this unique link from AN and there is no offer page to which this link provides (e.g. error 404 or totally different offer). Is that normal?
I am talking specifically about Clickdealer network where those offer links are similar and in each offer i have same issue, i cannot go through these links to offer page.
That concerns me because if cannot do it, will the user send by me into this link be able to see the offer?
Many thanks for help.
E.
Don´t worry, this is normal and happens all the time.
When you visit the link from geo, device, carrier or so that is not accepted by the offer you often get either redirected to a smartlink or just see an error page.
Try to visit the link from a setup that meets the offer requirements and see if it works then.
Sometimes it also happens that the offer is down or that the link is really broken, but that doesn´t happen that often.
But if you are unsure about it you can also ask your AM if everything is ok with the offer
It might be due to the fact that you are not in the same country as the offer's target country. Due to this, the system redirects you to an offer you are more likely to convert.
Have you tried with a a VPN selecting the right country? Have you checked with your affiliate manager?
Thanks a lot. I tried with VPN and it works correctly.
If i may i have also one question about Postback URL. I set up tracking in a tracker and i pasted global postback URL to my AN in "Global Postback" section.
Should i also paste that link (or another - specific for direct offer?) directly in the offer in section "Tracking Pixels"?
E.
When you set a global postback you don´t need to set postbacks again for the different offers.
The global postback will be used then for all offers automatically.
You can set a different postback for specific offers when needed, then it would override the global postback.
Such a situation could be when you want to use a different tracker for that offer.
But usually the global postback is enough so that you don´t need to set it for the offers again.
