Diet ads Redirecting to a Fan Page and then Redirecting to a Flog
Can someone explain what the significance of this is? Why not just cloak directly to the flog, why the need to go through a fan page?

I am pretty sure what they are doing is changing the name of the Fanpage after ad approval to get a non-compliant headline on the ad.

So changing the name of the fanpage automatically changes the title on the ad??

Aren't the clicks also cheaper in cpc wise (not sure if the actual end cost for each click is cheaper as it counts likes etc towards the ctr)

Surely not, can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, you can change the name of the fanpage or app before you have 10 users/likes. It will also change the title of the ad because the title of the ad is always the page name.
Try it for yourself. Get the ad approved on pause. Change the name of the page, see what happens.

Yeah I've heard of that rule, had never tested it or anything but surely doing that is a fast track for a ban?

If you are cloaking to a Fan Page CPCs are a lot cheaper. FB wants you to build your fan page so when they kick you off they have that targeting option in FB Ads

Problem with that is you lose some clicks due to people clicking "like" on your page instead of clicking through

Has anyone tried this method? I did a test with it and my click loss is huge. I made a static html tab on the page and used this code:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://www.url.com" />
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
Then used some code to break the iframe on my landing page.
Not sure if this is the best route but definitely gave me some problems
