NO major events or affliate conferences in Corona times? YOU ARE WRONG

As we all know major events are cancelled worldwide because of Corona.

Ususally the MAC should be next week but it had to be postponed to August because of the big "C".

I also had my ticket and hotel and everything booked already for Moscow and was excited to be there again.

But now let me tell you something, Corona can´t shut down everything and there are some cool people out there to send some nice asskicks towards the "C" with a 5 day virtual affiliate summit.

No need to book hotels and flights, you can attend there from the comfort of your home and learn about several different topics - and the biggest "salespoint": it´s FREE

I don´t want to waste more words here and strongly recommend you to check it out, you find it HERE

Would be great to know what you all think of the idea of virtual summits.

Is it only a good alternative in times like now or would you enjoy such events in gerenal as well?

Virtual summits look like a great way around the current situation. At least many marketers, including those who didn't have the possibility to attend conferences in person, can still get live access to the case studies and strategies shared on speeches.

Sadly we'll still miss person to person off-stage meetings. No virtual interaction can replace it.

I've seen this announced on FB yesterday or the day before, but there was an "entrance" fee mentioned... something like $99 and $149 for some VIP ticket... if my memory serves me well.

But looks like they changed to pricing model to free now... or maybe it's just for certain amount of tickets.

Good initiative anyways It can NEVER replace a real conference, speeches are always great, but for me the networking part is the best... but better than nothing.

It's absolutely free to sign up and to attend.

Later you can upgrade your account for some more benefits.

For example, with the free pass you can watch the expert sessions only for 24 hours from when they broadcast.

With the All Access Pass you get lifetime access.

With the upgrade you also get some bonuses for other tools and services as well as exclusive summit content only for VIP members.

I can vouch for the initiatives of Affiliate Business Club, they have proper meetups so I guess this one is going to be interesting too!

Yup, I've been to some of their meetups during AWA or AWE.. always had a great time

Looks cool. I'm in.

Lolz at the upsell and countdown timer. Should've expected that for an affiliate conference

Anyway, lots of meetups are going virtual. All the crypto conferences are taking it a step further and doing VR now, speakers have avatars on a virtual stage and everything.

I hope there won't be any hackers running around and screwing up the virtual event. I had a virtual meetup yesterday on Zoom and a hacker caused a havoc for at least 15 minutes.

Just noticed that you're one of the speakers @twinaxe ! Very nice, drop a word or two about STM, the more members we have the better this place is

Just like the Corey Feldman stream event where he supposedly got "hacked"

Glad that you liked it.

I was pretty nervous about it because it was the first time that I did something like this

Replays were available with free passes for 24 hours so now you would need to buy a lifetime pass to still watch it.

But there were few other very interesting sessions as well.

Usually I am not the kind of guy to watch such stuff but the session from Mary from Alfaleads was very nice and there was also interesting stuff about TikTok ads and Snapchat.
