Questions about Blacklists and Whitelists on Push

hey everyone!

When making blacklist/whitelist about placements.

im doing some google speardsheets to make everything organise
and im thinking:
1. should i separate the list by GEO
2. should i separate the list by offer?

i mean if for instance my vertical is sweeps, and i found 10 bad placement on my Walmart voucher can i use it to my free iPhone campaign on the same geo?
my logic telling me that if its the same vertical its the same kind of people who are looking for free stuff isn't it?

whats the best approach for this/.

another question on kind of the same area:
1. if i understand this whole black list white list thing, when i start with RON campaign after i gather some data and based on my rules i decide that some zones should be excluded(blacklisted) i do it on the same original campaign of RON right?
2. when i find zones worth whitelisting on my RON campaign, should i duplicate the campaign to only whitelist placements and EXCLUDE them from the original RON? or should i left them both sides to compete.
cause if the RON is getting profitable cause all the good zones i dont want ro "ruin" it and taking away the zones to a different new whitelist campaign that no body guarantee it will work the same GReen way...

hope i explained my self well

thanks so much from advance!

Thanks jay, but I will reply here anyway

1. should i separate the list by GEO
No

2. should i separate the list by offer?
No

Good placements often work across different geos and verticals.
Bad placements often don´t work across different geos and verticals.

Different people, different approaches.

I often run separate campaigns for testing and for scaling.

That way I have one campaign with messed up stats from the tests and separated from this I have campaigns with "clean" stats from the converting funnel.

Same as above, different people have different approaches.

I don´t exclude the WL placements from the original campaign and keep them both running.

thanks so much for the answer. so for me i think il do "global" whitelist and black list for my vertical
il exclude blacklist placements from the original RON campaign and duplicate whitelist campaign without excluding the wh placements from the original ron

also cant wait for the other parts of your push tutorial, it helped me so much.
im going to do. a follow a long soon.
