I am selling a weightloss course in the german speaking market. There is a 7 day free course leading up to the pitch.
First I was running traffic based on targetting but then I got my hands on a custom audience from Robby Blanchard.
Apparently it is a buyers list of Flat Belly Fix. My target audience are actually house wives over 35 and on Robby's list are many males.
The traffic is more expensive than the traffic based on targetting alone and I am not overly happy with the results.
I feel the quality of the traffic is slightly improved though.
What are the possible ways to get my hands on a good custom audience for building a lookalike audience?
I am selling a front end product (just 7 eur) on day 2 of the course.
One possible way would be to go for the 100 front end conversions (from one country) because these
are people that are extremely related to what I have to offer.
I am grateful for all ideas guys!
Thank you!
Hey i am running FB ads to Clickbank but in another vertical (Female Relationship)
Have you created a 1% lookalike for the custom audience?
You should also aim to get teh 100 conversions too from general targeting OR even go broad, which is how i began with my offer.
I went broad with no interest targeting, and made mine for females between 35 - 65 and its been doing good positive ROI but i am still testing, i am almoast at 100 conversions and thats when things will get better once the pixel begins to do its magic.
Which offer are you promoting? I don't see a $7 offer on Clickbank OR are you not promoting clickbank ?
Id say promote a similar clickbank offer that the custom audience came from.
I am running Fb ads to my own product on digistore24. The product is in German.
Yes, I created a lookalike from the Flat Belly Fix custom audience but noticed there were so many guys on the list which is not really helpful.
It is not a classic direct reponse offer since I am collecting the lead and then have them go through a 7 day course before I pitch them my VSL.
As of now it seems that going for the 100 conversions for the 7 eur product is the best way to go.
Is the owner of Cinderella solution giving out a buyers list to people starting out or do I have to reach a certain number of conversions for them beforehand? Any chance you might know that?
Btw, have you had any issues with ad compliance so far with your approach? I was running fb ads to clickbank back in summer.
Thank you!
the VSL should be on the thank you page after they opt in, then they can still go through the 7 day course where you still send them to the VSL to get the full method
if you are waiting 7 days, its going to take long and since its only $7, you should have them see this on the thank you page after they opt in. Do you have upsells after that $7? i assume you have a backend plan too to monetise your $7 buyers?
@janigmoney
Yes after the 7 days they are being pitched my core product with a 2-3 day follow up sequence until the special price is gone.
Will now aim at putting a decent vsl for the core product on the thank you page of the 7 day course.
Wait for 100 conversions or try a different audience set to create LAA.
For example: from 'Add to Cart' audience or even with 'Landing page visitors'.
Best is to use broad targeting in very start or with Interest based targeting. Pixel will do the rest with CPA bidding.
