I read some post on whether coronavirus affected dating and most of the feedback was that it didnt affect but it was some time back.
As now the situation for the virus has gotten worse, Is adult dating affected during this coronavirus?
If is ok, Does previous angles like saying the user will get instant sex nearby (real meetup) still works as well as before?
As I didnt have much data from before the virus to compare.
We're still seeing sales (organically), but a 40-50% drop in adult dating revenue since the beginning of March - from reduced traffic where people simply haven't been visiting the types of websites we deploy.
Conversion rates have held up OK.
We've switched a lot of internal inventory to promoting cam sites, which are booming by comparison.
In terms of creatives... those 'instant sex' angles are unlikely to work as well. But a lockdown means pent-up demand, and there are plenty of ways you can exploit that without tearing up the tried and tested formula. If anything, the core hook of the product (real women online now) is more believable than before.
One of the biggest frictions with the typical adult dating sales funnel has always been the user's doubt that real women would actually need to use a dating site.
Well, in the midst of the apocalypse, I'm sure there's a believable 300x250 out there suggesting they've no fucking choice.

It seems the drop in revenue is due to the reduced in traffic for your deployed websites. but Conversions rate has held out ok on the same funnels? i saw adult traffic volumes has increased due to people staying at home, was wondering if that would be same
nice point, i was thinking of cams too! Regarding that, i see that the owners of the offers itself are usually running on the big adult sites themselves. might have to try it elsewhere right. are there affiliates doing good now if competing with brands on that
would you say that the friction has increased over the years? and its still a good option to go for media buying on the typical large adult sites like PH. since the prices i see now is very high as compared to the dating offers payout, not sure what was it like in the past. even with a converting funnel , i will still not be able to be one of the top bidders, and traffic is little if i bid lower.
I see increased traffic on most sites that I buy ad space on, the only niche where I see a drop are escort and classifieds sites... maybe that's where Finch is getting traffic from. The general tubes are all seeing more traffic now.
I've experimented with banner copy for the past 2 weeks or so, some banners advertising "online chat, sms flirting, whatsapp sexy chats ...etc" seem to work well, but I'm still running the regular "meet females for sex" angles too and they do work. When I look at the data, I see some regions being down, so its likely tied to how strong a region is affected by the virus.
All in all, adult dating remains one of the verticals that work pretty well even in this situation

hi! there is definitely a drop in dating offers that normally led to meetings. Though, cams&chats seem to be still working fine. Moreover, the amount of people who prefer to obey and stay home is rising and eventually it leads to the increase of cam/tube visitor volume. I immediately grabbed the opportunity and started promoting adult tube sites membership CPS & revshare campaigns. Some worked and gave me positive ROI so i am doubling down on it. Cam offers are also working but right now i got my hands filled with paid tube sites. Some niche targeted sites are very good at content so we got a good product to market.
