is direct linking to chrome extension download page allowed in Google+Bing TOS?
Hi, I'm asking the above question because I just want to be 100% certain that it's compliant -- I have had nasty surprises when one of my Google Adwords account was banned for "Circumventing systems". What I did was direct the Buy button to a non functioning buy page in order to evaluate demand for that software idea. It turns out, this is NOT allowed by Google.
Other questions I have:
- Can I link my ad to a pre-sales page that I host on my web server, which would lead to the download page on the Chrome extension store?
- Does Bing have enough traffic? Because I'm thinking I'd rather test out ads on Bing first before scaling on Google. I assume they're pretty much the same - if your ad works on Bing on some keywords, probably it'll work on Google?
- Are there any getting started guides for Search/PPC? In particular I'm not sure about how to do KW selection. I know how to write an ad.

I have seen this done once recently on Adwords.
No idea if its compliant or not.
