Hi everyone! We've joined the STM Vortex 40 day challenge. I'm Mihai, I've been doing facebook ads for the past 4 years. My partner is Claudiu, he did adult affiliate marketing and he's a good programmer. Here is our 8 day journey so far that we will update almost daily. Please help...
Day 1 of our journey (1st April):
We applied for various offers on ClickDealer.
We installed FunnelFlux on a VPS.
We applied for an offer that was launched in Kenya. Here is a screenshot below:

Day 2 of our journey:
We sent traffic from PopAds to this offer. Spent $2.5 and we’ve made 1 single conversion in day 5 of our journey. The traffic still runs to this day. But no conversions as you see below:

We did this to see if the postbacks work… and how it feels like to get one conversion J
Day 4 of our journey:
We bought AdPlexity… Searched for “Win an iPhone/Samsung” popup offers. We chose 2 landing pages. Then we applied for a offer in clickdealer that was consistent with the landing page from adplexity.

Day 5 of our journey:
We sent traffic from PropellerAds this time (as opposed to PopAds the first few days – Kenia campaign)
So we sent traffic to India and Pakistan. We found out in that day that India + Chrome Mobile browser is the best:

Day 6 of our journey:
Took a break
Day 7 + 8 of our journey (Tuesday, Wednesday) **Wednesday is the day we’re posting this on STM**
We launched that offer + that landing page + only India + only Chrome Mobile WITH AI OPTIMISATION this time…

And these are our results so far…
We think the AI actually optimizes, what do you think? Running it longer makes a difference?

Our questions for the experienced STM members are:
-What have we been doing wrong if any?
-What have we not thought about? (and trust us that we’ve looked at every single other breakdown and we couldn’t see any clear pattern)
-What should we do in the future?
[Please Help With One Quick Question Before We Proceed] How can we view clickdealer offer? Experience it like the user does?
My question is, like in the title, once I apply for a clickdealer offer, I get accepted, and I can get the link, paste it in propellerads link it to my landing page etc.
But I'm in the dark when it comes to seeing that offer, the visuals of it, how the user sees it on his/her mobile phone etc.
Is there a way/ a tool that makes this possible, some vpn, changing IP method..
It's critical that we see the offers and step out of the dark..

--- And another quick question... does the PropellerAds AI actually make a big difference? What has been your experience with using AI vs not using the propellerads AI?
Just ask the AM for a previewlink or screenshots of the flow. They should be able to provide this. VPN's aren't always able to fix the problem, but good ones should do the job yeah.
One thing we found out was a software that allows to see offers, not just their links and previews, using this tool:

We will be using it from now on.
Also it turns out that the AI messes up the data from multiple campaigns, so we're stuck with slow support for 1-2 days until we figure out what the problem is..
UPDATE 1:
DAY 10 OF OUR JOURNEY [Friday basically.. last post was on Day 8 on Wednesday]
We've decided to be really nitpicky with the placements, to see whether we can whitelist or blacklist anything.
We saw that there was a clear possibility in Browser languages to blacklist.. so we did:

And... now it's Friday and we're in green again:

BTW do you remember our newbie first campaign with Kenya.. we'll it still hasn't spent the 2.5$ we've set to it.. (this was on PopAds, as opposed to the main one above which is in PropellerAds) so yeah, we kept that Kenyan campaign running.. and now it's spent 2.36$ and it's made ANOTHER conversion.. so the revenue is 2 conversions * 0.55$ = 1.1$, still on the red but who knows.. maybe that will make a million dollars someday if we keep it running for the end of time.

QUESTION TO THE STM EXPERTS:
We've been calling the PropellerAds AI for some time now. It's actually called Smart Optimization Tools
Do you have any experience with it? Did it actually make a difference in that Indian campaign we have? Does it do anything? What's your experience with it?

So there's no way that the campaign optimises (like in Facebook Ads)
The only thing we can do in the affiliate world is 1. pick offers, 2. work on landing pages, 3. pick good traffic placements (including whitelisting and blacklisting). There isn't any other thing right?
