Revcontent Billing Issues

Does anyone know what would cause credit card to get declined on revcontent? I have tried 3 different credit cards that I use for my business almost daily. All information on the account is correct but cards keep getting reviewed and declined. There is also campaign with multiple approved creatives.

At this point I am thinking about just leaving for a different platform because they're telling me to do ACH and I don't want to have to deal with multiple day delays just to test.

Have you tried hitting up support there or getting in touch with a rep to follow up?

I've heard of people having trouble with this when they start... if I remember right they said that first your card gets declined... then you set up a campaign.. then you try to input the card again and it will work... something like that... although I presumed they had gotten that fixed by now...

I would reach out to their support though that's what they are there for...

Also, I always do ACH transfers and honestly in my opinion it's easier to do that... plus it will save you a lot of money in fees... let's say you end up with a 10% profit margin at the end of the month, the 3% in credit card fees just wiped out 30% of your net income for the month...

But yeah, try setting up a campaign (or "boost" as they call them) and then try inputting the card again, and definitely reach out to their support either way.

I do have a boost setup and approved. Support said they can't give any more information. I will just figure out how to do ACH and try that out. You made a good point @jack_l about the fees.

Right on...

Support@revcontent and AR@revcontent I believe...

Let them know you just set up an account, give them the account nickname and ID number, and tell them you'd like to send in a 1000$ wire, etc to fund the account. You can probably do less than that too, or more obviously.

Also quick protip - learn from my mistake - buy a cheap professional looking domain name and email address on namecheap and use it for corresponding with these networks... something like support@masumshukladigitalservices.com or something like that... it will get you way better customer support than if you are using a gmail address or something similar.

I've never worked for a traffic network so I don't know... but I would guess they get a steady stream of 18 year old dudes who just bought internet marketing courses trying to get setup with them and end up not looking fondly on such signups, whereas if you present yourself as a serious, professional company (which is what we should all be setting up and behaving as anyway) they'll be way more inclined to help you, give you more of their time, etc.

You're very likely already doing that so that's not advice for you specifically- just something I thought of in regards to the Revcontent/billing/etc question.
