FREQUENT Ad Account Bans - Running Clean on Leadgens like Auto, Life Insurance

Hey guys,

Anyone here is experiencing frequent account ad restrictions on Facebook lately for those who are running leadgens like auto insurance, life insurance?

Im running clean ads and my ads are a bit generic (no mention of specific rates or anything like that). Im using 2 new BMs and for some ad accounts, I’ve been restricted 2-4 times already. The other BM has some good history of leadgen and had data in the past but also got disabled once or twice before. Sometimes they approved and before getting any data, they will disable the account again. I have another ad account that’s running SKIN COD in ASIA and in US, its doing just fine. I’ve re-appealed many times and within a day or two, they re-activate but i couldn’t get much data cos they will ban the ads as fast as 1minute from running. LOL

Im direct linking (no tracker) and the offer has no redirects, I even tried changing the offer from other networks, still the same. How do you guys manage this?

Reason they always give:

Your ad account was disabled for not complying with the following policies:

Circumventing Systems Policy - Ads must not use tactics that are intended to circumvent our ad review process or other enforcement systems. This includes techniques that attempt to disguise the ad's content or destination page. Please read through our Policy for more details including a few examples of do's and don'ts.

Thanks for those who can give their insights!

Cheers,

C

This is a very regular error message from FB. I have chatted many times with them when this appeared on my accounts, 9/10 they couldn't find/tell a direct cause for the error. It could be a single word triggering the bots, as these are very tense lately!

For me what often works is using a fresh/new domain/lander.

Are you direct linking?

If you are using a landing page, are you doing any sort of split testing on the page?

Can you send your link? At the moment facebook has ads problems and any link gets blocked very quickly

Hey @stickupkid,

Im not using any tracker and prelanders. Im just direct linking to the network I'm running the offer with. The new ads I submitted are very safe already - too generic and not using any rates, words like DISCOUNTS or anything like that. At first, I thought I was automatically flagged now because initially I submitted quite aggressive ads and have been flagged a few times under the same ad account i.e. mention of $XX amount they can save, etc. But I tried submitted very clean ads at a new BM for life insurance. Still got the same issue so it's really hard to tell.

I also thought it could be something on the offer (I've checked before running, it got no redirects though), I re-submitted with a new offer from another network, still the same. So not really sure now whats wrong here

Direct linking can result in bans as far as ive seen. FB can see multiple accounts are all linking to the same domain. Also if any one affiliate links to that domain and it gets flagged your account would be flagged too since you were direct linking.

Yep.

Plus your affiliate network is probably doing geo based redirects to monetization type links.

So when FB checks your link, most likely from Ireland, they are ending up on some questionable offer.

Hello anomaxia,

Thought this could be an issue so I asked my AM to give us a fresh dedicated tracking domain for this offer which I used since the beginning.

Hey there Mr Baffoe,

I checked this as well before running. The tracking link doesn’t have any geo redirects either.

Hey,

Im in the same situation, also trying insurance with prelanders though, but getting constant / insta bans with the "Circumventing Systems" policy.

Did you ever figure out what was triggering the bans?

The offer link could be blacklisted ( On Auto Ban ) by fb

Had the same exact problem with auto insurance. We gave up on it. It was causing a lot of bans on multiple accounts with very clean ads. Heard this from a few friends as well.

We bumped into the same problem across multiple niches, still unsure what exactly causing it

Hey guys, thanks for the replies!

After talking to few media buyers and trying other methods, I still wasn't able to get anything approved in leadgen.
Moved to another niche (outside leadgen) for now, think its the wisest thing to do atm.

Lets update this thread once we see any changes - ill keep you guys posted as well! Thanks all!

I am thinking to set up FB ads for insurance niche. I have my own brand & domain name. It is a review site. Will I get the same circumventing systems policy issue?

Well that depends on your ad and website, how good are they? In general an insurance review/comparions website is not a harmful thing so ready to go yes. But if you start advertising "with the best and cheapest insurances" your ad will be disabled probably.
