E-commerece and tracking

Hi guys
I would really like to learn e-commerece and proper tracking...Let say I promote a store with native ads, I want to know exactly which ads and which placements brought me the sales...Is there any course or guide that teaches that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @nomore9to5!

If you're using tracking is the easiest way to that you type in Google:

"traffic source + tracker + conversion tracking"

example

"revcontent Voluum tracking conversion"

You can also track conversion only with UTM parameteres. Build a link here: https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/

Tell us which traffic source are you planning to use and we can give you more accurate answer.

Thanks for answering!
Actually the traffic source can be anything...I think the question is more about the shop..lets say I use Shopify ..how can I set the tracking between shopify and revcontent for example?

If for example you are planning to promote your Shopify products on Rev, then you can simply build your destination links using UTM parameters as @wakeboarder suggested.

One thing you should keep present for when promoting ecom products on native traffic, is that most certainly you'll need to send your visitors to a landing page before sending them to the product. Unlike facebook you will need to better sell your product through the landing page.
