Yo guys!
Today the Wild Boar Liquidator aka. my father told me that one region in Germany Sachsen(Saxony) have problems with wild boars because swine fever spreads from Poland.
The problem is because African swine fever has been detected for the first time in domestic pigs.
Just out of pure curiosity I checked FB report for the German campaign that went live on Monday and I break it down by Region.

Interesting fact is that out of 15 regions one has x14 ROAS where the average is x4.2. And this region is Sachsen(Saxony).
Of course, because there are only 7 orders this could be just coincidence.
That said, I upload a new campaign targeting just this state and see if there is something on this.
Unfortunately this region is small and I don't think I can scale ... but what I can do is to use this angle and write an advertorial.
Do you think is morally wrong do run this kind of angle? Just thinking how I can take advantage of this situation, if it turns out that the CPA in Sachsen will be way below my target CPA.

You need to hook them on the right products while they are young!
Cheers,
wakeboarder
Hi wakeboarder,
no worries about the angle, the fear for "schweinepest" is real in Germany, not only in Sachsen, because we have many big domestic pig farms here.
Another angle you could try is the agricultural damage the wild pigs do. In Germany the hunters have to pay the farmer for the "wildschaden".

stay healthy,

Thanks a lot @gunnar for sharing this insights.
I will write a new advertorial around schweinepest and wildschaden as you suggested because it totally make sense what you're saying.
Cheers,
wakeboarder
We have the same problem here in Slovakia (the African swine plague), the hunters are actually forced to shoot as much wildboars as they possibly can, I think Hungary has the same problem. So your target audience is well aware of this problem and I don't think they would see this angle as problematic.
And what gunnar suggested is a great idea too! I know a few hunters from a nearbie village and they are in constant "fight" with the local agriculture farms, not sure if they have to cover damages but they regularly go out during the night in order to scare the wildboars (and other wild animals) off the fields.
