First touch CPX Interactive, Xtend Media

Hi all,

I want to promote some offers in these networks because they have international traffic.

I want to know how you opened advertising accounts?

For example, the sales manager at matomy media asked me weird questions:

What would be your CPA goal?
What would be your CPL goal?
Thanks for the info below.
Could you please elaborate about the goals of the campaign? Are you looking for impressions only, leads, sales?
What are the volumes you're having at the moment?

Anybody had this experience?

Thanks!

Yes , they are media buys platforms not self serve.

You get an account rep and he sets up the campaigns for you.

Keep in mind you need at least $5k - $10k to test with them.

Your CPA/CPL goal is what you are getting paid on the offer you want to promote.

Honestly I wouldn't mess with them unless you have some good experience with smaller networks.

cpx also runs campaigns internally, you need to be really careful with those guys.

bbrock32, please can you recommend some smaller networks to start with?

They must have traffic from Europe.

I have a budget of $100k. The ROI of the campaign that I want to scale is 90%.

Until now I was focused on FB Ads and Google Adwords.

shoent, I know they steal campaigns and that's why I don't want to respond all questions.

My experience:
Question from the network during the setup:
- What is your current payout?
- Can you give us the URL of your LP?
- Which banner do you want us to display?
- What is the maximum CPA you want to reach?

Then:
Answer from the network when I'm finally ready to launch the campaign:
"Unfortunately, it seems that we work directly with the advertiser. We won't be able to work together, maybe another time".

Lesson learned

I would start with Adperium since it's self serve.

Through it you can buy traffic from CPX and XtendMedia.

This way you can test how your campaign performs on these sources , and if you are profitable you can go direct with any of them.

There's better networks out there. I wouldn't recommend Xtend or CPX. And if you are just trying to copy ads/offers that are already running there, good luck they won't accept you. Not a good way to start doing business with them.

I told them, simply, that I want to buy traffic of $50k per month, and they asked me about my deals, (Can you share the eCPA your other partners are backing out to?)... Fuck them!

They are so shady! I definitely wouldn't want to work with networks that steal your campaign even if they have the BEST traffic on this earth... To me they are just building their own fame on Media buy and attract victims to go to them and tell them "this is my 100% ROI campaign, please take it", and they would respond with "thank you!"

Yes kokofai, You Are Right. Since I stopped to answer their questions, they stopped from sending emails.

You have other recommendations for spending a large budget, outside of FB, Adwords?
