Newbie stuck, questions about ordering funnelflux
Hello, thanks in advance!
I'm about to buy the managed micro $139 at funnelflux, the contact/support link for them is not working yet because I have not ordered yet and I have some questions
a. when it asks on the order page for server location, does that matter for the 40-day by vortex and will it be bad for running certain campaigns i may want to run in the future if i pick the wrong server
options are. Europe west/uswest/useast/singapore
for example my concern is that i know that i want to run facebookand various traffic campaigns targeting the usa and if im doing the 40 day thing just to learn im thinking i should have the server location in usa even thought the tutorial at the beginning is saying to target pop/sweep offers in developing countries
b. also it asks for primary domain to use and im a bit confused, do i need to purchase a domain from namecheap/godaddy and enter it here. does it matter where i buy the domain?
c. it asks "are you able to transfer your domain management to us?* (i have no idea what it's talking about here) will I be able to do that if I use godaddy for the domain? options are "yes, i can move it to a new cloudflare account""no i cannot move it, but i manage it in cloudflare""no i cannot move it, and its not managed in cloudflare, and "i am not sure"... its pretty clear "i am not sure" but I want to make sure I get it set up the right way and since i dont know what cloudflare is i thought id ask.

Hey bud,
Thanks for considering FunnelFlux!
To address your questions:
1. For the support link, is there a specific one that's not working somewhere? You can flick us a message at
support@funnelflux.com, or through the widget that appears on our website after a little while.
2. For server location I would recommend Europe West, its the best middleground for redirect latency. Only pick something different if you specifically know you will be driving traffic only in Asia, or the US. If you're just starting out, go for EU West still -- the latency to the US is extremely good so it will not have a noticeable impact. To put it another way, the server being in the US vs EU West is not going to make or break any campaign these days.
3. Yes, you will need a custom domain to use for tracking. It can be anything e.g. purpleninjatracker.com, up to you. I would avoid the new, cheap TLDs like .online, .site etc. as in my recent experience they can have weird/significant delays with DNS stuff changing (like nameserver changes). You can buy a cheap domain at Namecheap (doesn't matter where) and then you change its nameservers later, to ones we send to you. We need a domain specified initially as we set up a Cloudflare account for it ahead of time to make things smoother for you.
4. Here, pick yes you can move it. All this means is at the registrar -- the place you bought it such as Namecheap, that you're willing/able to change the Nameserver options to our Cloudflare ones that we give you. Its very easy, and just means that control of the DNS records happens in the Cloudflare account we set up (we need to use Cloudflare for some features).
5. Don't forget to go via our promo page to get $100 off your first month :-)

Cheers,
Zeno

I decided to skip the 40 day thang! going straight for fb leadgeneration stuff. I'm truly so thankful for the wealth of help this forum is. And i'm inspired by the depth of wisdom us new peeps can draw from.. much appreciated!

The company website domain I got for the business ill be doing fb lead generation for was bought on godaddy, then I used weebly.com to design and publish the website. does that mean it's hosted at weebly? or is it hosted at godaddy
I'm not sure but weebly had me change the dns in go daddy to make it work.
is it going to be hosted at funnelflux once i get the service?
in any case, from the threads iv'e been reading, weebly isn't going to cut it because you can't make pages there with pure html and there's a bunch of code that's already cooked into their pages.
what kind of software or service would be good for a new affiliate to start out with making websites/pages and being able to put them live at the domain. i feel kinda lost with this part

Congrats on your choice- FunnelFlux is a real beast when it comes to tracking and features!
You’d better get a separate domain for your FunnelFlux installation. After all you’ll need several domains for various landing pages you will need to use for your campaigns.
A quick solution to get started with landing pages would be
https://landerlab.io
Hosting already included, lots of ready to use landing page templates, ability to import landing pages from spy tools like Adplexity, and the best part is that now you can start using it for free (until beta ends).
