Adult Dating Native TF (9)

Hi guys, is anyone running adult dating offers on the native spots at TF or another network?
I have a winning desktop campaign running at the NTVs at TF and thought to scale it to the Native spots.
It is not working so good but I am still testing, some things that I have noticed are:

-LP CTRs are way lower than the NTVs
-Prices (CPM) are really high x2 - x3 times more expensive than NTVs
-AD CTRS are a bit better than NTVs

My first impression is that it will be very difficult to make it work, but it might be the specific GEO right now.
I wanted to ask what is your experience about native spots and if you use them for your dating campaigns.

P.S. When you are behind in the bidding chain does performance drop like the NTV spots? The bids are really high and I thought to try and bid low but my stats are not looking that good

For me I have found that NTV spots work better than Native spots, though I do run campaigns on Native.

For me though Native Desktop hasn't worked for me as well as Native Mobile, but thats just been my experience.

As far as bidding, of course where you are in the bidding chain is important, but I think the importance of this varies per site.

For example I think where you are in the bidding chain is much more important on TF than say on a TJ site.

TF quality goes to shit once you fall too far behind in the mix, Im not really sure why this is lol.

Their banner traffic also works better for me than native, but the native traffic at TF is much better than on trafficstars for example, so if you wanna learn how to convert adult native, stick with TF for sure.

I see the same numbers as you mentioned ... better ad ctrs, lower LP ctrs and higher prices in most cases... but the higher CTRs make up for the price increase.

Based on my experience, the image is extremely important with the native format, it can literaly make or break the campaign, you need to find the right female

Thanks @jabong82 & @matuloo , I raised the bid to get between positions 2 and 4 and I already see a huge increase in performance. About women images, I find it really difficult to find some good wide photos, could you give some general guidelines, like should it be a close one, full body, eyes in the cam etc.? Also about copy do you pay a lot of attention to it, or with the right image, a general "get laid today" copy will do just fine?

When you hit the right picture, a general angle will do fine. With a mediocre image, the angle plays a bigger role.

Look for images shot in home-like locations ... a sexy lady "cleaning the floor" in a sexy position... .pics from kitchen, laundry ... you know what I mean for sure. Showing the full body works better for me than cropped closeups. But it's not a rule, sometimes a cleavage shot kills it too.

Images are everywhere... there is a ton of sites where swingers/amateurs share their photos... that's the more risky path because of possible copyright issues, but from the most part, these people kinda expect their photos to get shared, so the actual risk is low... but it's there.

Or, you can use some photo provider, there are quite a few who sell content that looks like amateur/homeshot... it's usually called selfie/amateur etc.. I've even seen some photosets for sale that were compiled for dating promotions.
