Integration of Pre-Landers in a Campaign Creation

Hi! I'll be creating pre-landers for my campaigns but i don't exactly understand who will be hosting them?

Do i purchase a domain and create the pre-lander with a page builder within wordpress with my own hosting (Siteground)? If so, where will this page url be uploaded to?

Or do i use a tool like Clickfunnels or Lander and if i do, who will host these landers. Basically, i don't understand how a pre-lander is integrated with the campaign creation process.

Any links to articles, tutorials or videos would be extremely helpful. Your help is much appreciated

Shane

Start here: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-Landing-Pages

And there are many more threads on LPs in Amys tutorial.

But to quickly address the LP subject :

1. LPs will be hosted by you, so on your own hosting. You will need a domain name too.
2. There are also services that generate LPs and host them for you, I guess clickfunnels is one example. But when working with speed sensitive traffic types such as POPs or PUSH, it's the best to use very simple LPs, with clean code and host them on your own to maximize loading speed performance.

Once you have the LP code, ripped, built by someone else ... you upload it to your hosting. You can use a subdirectory, in order to be able to upload more to the same domain. So the urls of your LPs will look like www.domain.com/LP1/welcome.html ... www.domain.com/LP2/welcome.html... you can use any structure that you like, this was just an example.

Once you have these LPs hosted, you just take their urls and set them up in your tracker. Every tracker these days has support for LPs, so you just open the LP section and enter them one by one. When starting a campaign, you just select the LP you want to use and the tracker will take care of the rest.

There is one more thing to understand here, in order for the tracker to be able to use the same LP for several campaigns, you need to properly use the so called "click URL". Basically, all the CTAs on your LPs will point to the same url, the click url of your tracker. In Voluum it looks like trackingdomain.com/click ... not sure what you are using, but Amy covers several trackers in her tutorial.

Please try to read the tracker related lessons and post again in case something isn't clear. It's quite a complex subject so I don't want to go deeper into explaining it all before you read what we have already
