So, when selling to European countries (especially those where most of the population speaks English pretty well) have you found it better to advertise to them in their native languages (google translate) or to advertise in English.
I'm selling a product for a PC game, which is in English already, so in that sense I feel like it might be ok to advertise in English, but then again using google translate might make the ads sound....awkward at best.
Thanks
I can tell you for a fact that only about 25% of Spanish people speak English decently. So you really don't want to advertise in English here.
Depends on where you are planning to promote it, if it's Facebook then create 2 campaigns and utilise the language targeting to get the maximum reach. ie people in spain that can speak english
If your product or lander page isn't in their native language then don't bother. If they do have localised versions available then go for it, definitely use onehourtranslation.com. If advertising on Facebook make sure you specify to the translator that the translations have character limits (headline+body limits) and ask them to reword/shorten it to fit if necessary.
