But other than that, if you just wanna use a photo or two, the licenses are not that expensive and there are quite a few places that sell such images. Or if you feel like taking a bit of risk, which is actually very small, just grab it from "google"

Whenever I send images to the developer they're rejected as too small.

They do a deal with DepositPhotos every 6 months, where you can buy 100 photos for USD 39, without time limit to use your credit. (instead of their normal price of USD 299). Subscribe to AppSumo.com to get notified when it occurs. They usually have it for BlackFriday every year.
DepositPhotos has 100 million photos in their database, so you should find interesting one.
I have just checked, and the deal is running currently (15/04/2020).
