Youtube Ads

Hey guys,
I've been running Facebook ads for 4 years now but recently YT has peaked my interest.
Does anyone know any good resources to learn Youtube ads? I haven't found any guides on the forum and am in the blind as far as who is legit in the industry.

Thanks crew!

Are you trying to create and upload your own videos or are you planning just to promote an offer through banner ads?

Unfortunately, I am not sure about it. I think there are Youtube video courses out there on educational site such as Udemy.

YouTube is the most underrated Lead Gen Source today.

The power lies in the targeting more than ANYTHING else - plus viewers are primed to actually watch the video etc.

I have a client in the nutra space CRUSHING it with YouTube video ads that is 46 minutes long!! And they get on average 25% view time it's insane.

Anyway - I work with a Google account manager that onboards new/jumping affiliates who have a budget above $30K+ monthly mark - he is a specialist on YouTube (They call it YouTube 4 Action)

These guys (inside Google) can do the work for you!! They can give you the exact tips to get it done and built by sharing with you best practises and even examples of successful videos within your niche

I agree, highly underrated and strong barriers to entry make it a potential moat for affiliates. You can record your own 60 second video on an iphone & run in-stream ads, only pay when a user clicks. This can go to your advertorial or landing page then to an offer. Boom. Cheap & highly targeted traffic.

Not only this, YouTube is much underrated in general in my opinion.

Actually YouTube is not only the second biggest search engine right after Google, it´s also the second biggest website in terms of traffic right after Google.

Can I ask what barriers to entry you see on YT ads. From my perspective, sure, doing a video is a bit more time consuming than a Search/Display ad, but i do not think it is that strong.
Maybe I am missing something.

Yes creating the videos with the right hook, angle, structure etc. This info is available so its not that difficult.

Are any well known affiliates crushing it on YT?
