Can I ask for feeback or share my journey on this portal if I use 'free' traffic? Like conversions from free social media traffic, youtube or email campaigns?
I guess SEO and email discussions are allowed because there are already sections for them.

Of course you can, whatever relates to internet marketing is more then welcome to be discussed here on the forum.
Quite a few people are exploring SEO options again and plenty of us here are working with social channels too... so fire away
Matej.

Sure man, it´s always nice to read about something that´s not so common here.
Free traffic can also be good, I made lots of money with free traffic in the past.

Sounds good.
I have been on forums/ 'closed' facebook groups from expensive courses where all newbies would be trying to 'help' each other, and the instructor would just delegate someone from Philippines or India to moderate as a 'senior.' It never really helps! Sheer wastage of time and money. On top of that you get badly misguided or if you think up something innovative they would have no answer or discourage.
I feel super safe here!

Well with free traffic you need to be a whole more gentle. In it's essence it's not something you can just say what you want to sell, it's a bit more marketing then affiliate marketing. But it's awesome to get something going like that, since you really see results from a lot of effort but minimum spend.

I guess it depends on what I am using to my traffic. Yes, through a 'traditional' niche website/blog it may take months or at least a year. But CPL is slightly easier than where people need to shell out money.
I have something in mind and am working on it. No it's not the niche site, but I feel the results will be way way quicker. Let's see how it goes.

Fingers crossed.

Well, if you manage to grow a lot of traffic, you can run your own ads and promote whatever you want there

Keep in mind that all the banner spots you can buy are actually placed on real websites.
Affiliate marketing has been here long before the first traffic network came into existence. Working with paid traffic is just AM on steroids

Yeah, sadly I discovered affiliate marketing only in 2016/2017 at the wrong places and wasted my time so far. Better late than never.
Thanks for sharing and the helpful tips... I guess Google and Facebook are doing the same thing as they have NOT scaled to the moon... but to the stars!

And never forget, mostly there is no thning like real free traffic when you have to pay with our time.
The thing is that often it takes some time to build a website/FB page/Insta page/YT channel or whatever to grow it big enough that it´s worth it to monetize.
And even then you never have a guarantee that it works.
I guess that´s a main reason why most people here prefer to run paid traffic.
That way you have much faster results so that you don´t waste time with stuff that eventually won´t work.
Then the opportunity costs can be a bit bad when you spent weeks or months to build an asset that doesn´t pay off when in the same time you could have tested hundreds of paid campaigns.
But don´t get me wrong, it shouldn´t sound negative or so at all.
I am curious to follow your progress, in fact I was thinking about running some bot stuff again myself because it´s fun

I agree. Time is money. Everything has its pros and cons.... That's the reason I am staying away from blogs and writing contents.
However, building up a social media base can help with my blogs in the future. I can drive traffic there from social media and it could help SEO too with good social signals.
Insta page sounds a bit easier to me from the rest of the group. Also, easier to monetize than others.
I have heard good things about Pinterest (both organic and paid ads), but I want to lay a solid foundation on Instagram before anything else. Yes, black hat strategies... but the whole world is doing it! I am no saint either
You have a point - that's the reason I have kept 20 per cent of my time aside for paid push traffic.
Thanks for warning me!
