It’s a good time for everything if you set your mind to it buddy. But yeah, aim for the long tail and try niches that are not too saturated. Do some research and explore untouched geo's. Think of a vertical which fits best to you and your current knowledge/skillset etc. Check the media for possible trends.

For example facemasks are trending now because of the corona-virus. I know for a fact that the masses here isn't googlin' this now much yet, because there are no known infected people yet. Once it's in the media big people are going to behave like sheep and google searches for facemasks will be massive! Kaching... if you are well prepared with your campaigns!

Many people believe, myself included, that search traffic has the highest buying intent of all traffic types... since the users are already searching for specific products, assuming that you chose the keywords wisely. Based on my personal experience, search traffic converts the best of all the traffic types I had worked with. The only type that won over search in specific cases, was traffic from price comparison portals.

The downside is the mammoth competition in a lot of niches/verticals.... everyone wants a piece of the pie. Then there is the regulation and some verticals are not allowed to be advertised at all.

But if you can find your way, pick the right products and master the KW selection... you can still kill it with search for sure.

Aggree with matuloo, Also about competetion all you need is to do things differently, You have to come out of the box, Work on unique Angles , Come up with new strategy you can do it...

The main problems on Google Ads and Affiliates is beatup, Black listed tracking links( Offers ,networks, trackers), If you create ur own funnels and portals you can still make good money

Oh and one more thing, that many marketers tend to forget about ... with adwords/googleads ... do not confuse search with the google display network, that's a completely different beast. It's great traffic too, but it doesnt compare to search by far. But there is so much traffic to have there too... definitely worth it with the right products and ad strategies

COD such as Cash On Delivery? Yup for sure, the payment/shipping model itself is not a problem at all, the key is to chose products that are in line with their policies.

Plus the whole funnel has to follow the guidelines too of course, or you need to cloak.

If you want to promote offers on Bing, you have to use trackers such as Voluum or Clickmagick to identify bots. Bing/Microsoft advertising is a great place to promote offers but bots can take up at least 25% of all the clicks. In some cases those bots can represent 80% of all the clicks.

80% bots on bing? There are guaranteed to be some bots in the mix but 80% is more likely to happen in case of some shitty POPs placements, not bing. Where did you get this number from, is that based on some tests you've done yourself?

Yes it's based on the campaigns that I ran in the past. Some verticals such as dog training or learning Spanish had less than 5% bots. But campaigns such as keto supplement or MMO could have bots as high as 80%.

I never had any issues with Bots or bad traffic quality on Bing. I honestly never even tested it because the traffic was so targeted. It wasn't even super niche. It was like ClickBank back pain stuff.

Their PPC traffic is still pretty good. Relatively cheap too.

And it's hooked into Siri, so there's that

I'm very surprised to hear that. I have run a few smaller campaigns on bing in the past, nothing major for sure, but didn't experience any significant bot issues. Some bots sneaked in of course, but nothing as dramatic as you describe here... 80% is nothing short of shocking to me.

I think in some niches, the bot is extremely low because the audiences are not relatively big. I think those bots target niches with so many paid ads. I still love Bing though because their PPC is way lower than google on average.
