How to Track Clicks and Conversions of Banners? (5)
I am using Exoclick buying banner ads. I don't know how to track the clicks and conversions. Can you do this on your tracker? Or do you have to do this within Exoclick? I have 10 banners but I don't which one are being clicked.
When running banner ads, you can easily track banner clicks as campaign link visits. So basically every click on your banners should generate a campaign link visit.
That being said, since the visitor who clicks on your banners will go through your tracker generated campaign link, you can easily track conversions. Also, if needed pass conversion data from your tracker to ExoClick using postbacks.
Have you already created exoclick as a traffic source on your tracker?
Which tracker do you use?
You need to setup tokens in your tracker.
Exoclick uses {variation_id} for banners.
So if you use this in your tracking link then Exoclick will automatically replace this token with the banner ID.
This way you can easily see in your tracker which banner got how many clicks and conversions.
