What are the advertisers monetization strategies?
I signed up to a sweep SOI offer (win a gift card) a couple of weeks ago to have a better understanding of the user journey after the leadgen.
I received hundreds of emails promoting all kind of services (telco, insurances, amazon, ...) but all of them were delivered in the spam folder of my gmail. None of them were delivered in the inbox and all of them are really generic commercial newsletter.
The advertiser is a big one, with lots of offers in TIER1 GEOs
How can an advertiser make money if they can't properly deliver in the inbox and tell a story in their newsletter? What are their monetization strategies besides emails and phone calls?

Emails pretty much.... But it depends on the niche, email funnel/plan etc etc.... They test a lot of different email funnels.

They can also make money with a co-reg path.
That means that you see a new page with even more offers when you fill the submit form and submit your data.
When you fill out the co-reg offers as well the advertiser gets paid for each entry.

I feel bad, I never got any of their emails after signing up. Not even in my spam folder. Maybe I didn't finish the funnel?

Yup, that's precisely how the S&P offers work. Their funnels are brilliant actually. 'So you want an iPhone? Btw, do you have health insurance? For everyone in your family? Ok, Ok, back to your iPhone... do you like other electronics?' Etc. Goes on forever. Neat little map which charts your progress too. They've studied game design
That's also the reason why you'll see super late conversions on some of their offers, even if you snagged them like a month before.

I finished the funnel and received hundreds of emails. None of them landed in my inbox
How does the coreg works exactly? Is it possible to partner with some offers to provide coreg when my users signup to my newsletter?

You've seen it in action actually, that's why you received so many emails... not all of them were from the operator of the offer, they passed the email to several others who sent promo emails to you as well
It's all about the numbers in the end... large part of the emails end up in spam folders, but some people monitor even these emails... and it's not like ALL of the emails end up in spam, some find their way to the inboxes. As long as they can make more $$$ from the emails than they paid for, they accept the poor delivery rates.

Is there any way to work directly with coreg offers to monetize the users as soon as they land on my newsletter registration form and signup for my newsletter? Maybe in the thank you page?

You would have to make some agreements with lead buyers, never done that personally so not sure how to approach this to be honest. There used to be a tool/service called "leadwrench", try to check them out, maybe they are still in operation.
