How to monetize 10.000.000 monthly pageviews?

Hi guys!

I hope someone here with monetization experience can chime in.

We have 16 website portals and I'm looking for the best way to monetize the traffic. All the portals are very generic with daily news topic.

Here are the stats for January.

Pageviews: 10.000.000
Unique visitors: 900.000
Sessions/user: 3.92
Avg. Session Duration: 3 min 13 sec

At the moment we're using one small EU Ad Exchange and our eCPM is around 0.50EUR.

What do you think would be the best way to increase the eCPM?

I was thinking about Taboola/Outbrain?

Any recommendation is much appreciated.

That being said, if it's political news, Native will work and is pretty par for the course (everyone is used to seeing the widgets from CNN to Breitbart).

Unless it's naked political news. Then put adult banners.

Any reason for not using it already? With websites where I used third party ads, adsense always made the most $$$.

Yeah, @kinan is the guy behind it.

Btw you could also try AdThrive or MediaVine, many content publishers seem to have better results with them than with pure AdSense.
