[Giveaway] Push Collection Overlay Script for ANY lander.
Hola STMers,
In case you've missed it, here is the push subscribers collection landing page.
Now, wouldn't it be nice if you could collect push subscribers on ANY landing page?
This one works with OneSignal on chrome desktop and android mobile phones.
PUSH COLLECTION OVERLAY SCRIPT
Keep in mind, that the CVR will slightly drop, but the difference (and then some) could possibly be made up with broadcasting your own campaigns on your very own push subscriber database.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once user clicks Allow they are added to your OneSignal subscriber database and will continue with the landing page as per normal. Same thing happens when a user selects Block, except that this time they are not added.
Download attached push-overlay.zip file!
HOW TO SET IT UP?
1. Ensure that your landing page hosting platform has SSL certificate and uses HTTPS (Not HTTP).
2. Insert this meta tag inside
of your landing page index.php file.
Code:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
3. Copy push_overlay.php into your landing page directory. Include it inside your index.php by using:
Code:
<?php include "push_overlay.php" ?>
Or simply copy content of push_overlay.php into your index.php page.
4. Change the overlay text inside the file to match your GEO/desired requirements.
That’s it! 🙂
WHAT CAN I SEND MY SUBSCRIBERS?
Since this is now your very own traffic source, the offers you send is only limited to your imagination. (Within the terms and conditions of the push subscription service, of course).
Think big ticket items, like first time deposits for Crypto offers, Casino, Dating or even send them back to a different version of the original vertical that you were trying to promote in the first place.
Good Luck!

Did you notice a decreased effectiveness of this collection system after the Chrome 80 update?
I'm just reading the answers we collected for the upcoming Whats Working in AM in 2020 report and the replies we got from push networks do not indicate any significant drop as of yet.

Monetizer's Push Collection are stating they haven't noticed a drop in performance as well.

Yup, it's strange but most of the networks we talked to for the report are saying the same.

I also didn´t see a negative impact on my campaigns.
Business as usual...

While testing some new push subscription services, I opened up devtools to make sure everything was working and Chrome 80 still gives the same warning that someday in a future update they will block cross-site CORS stuff (which would affect any external push collection like monetizer).
But it still totally works. and push notifications still work perfectly fine.
Just like Pops. Push dies with every Chrome update

How do you go about making sure everything works with devtools?
