Hello,
Congratulations on getting approved to them!
1. When i started out and did the 1$ Guide, i had the same question, so i asked my AM. She told me that the PN All Landings is the one that i have to use. So in that case, yes you use the PN 186 All Landings.
2. I don't think it will cause a problem since you are already registered and can use the account, am i right? The only problem that could occur (which happened to me as well) is, when you make a deposit into your PopAds account. Basically it doesn't let you cause your connection is identified as a VPN, Proxy, Robot, whatever. What you can do then, is switch to a mobile connection (i.e. Smartphone) and make a deposit from there. That's how i fixed my problems with PopAds - Never had a problem since then.
Good luck on your journey!
best regards
heiko

Congrats on getting started Twilken!
My suggestion would be to ask your account manager for as much information as possible. The more info you get about specific offers, the easier it will be for you to optimize your campaigns. Also, since most offers accept global traffic, make sure to ask your AM about the top converting countries in terms of volume and EPC. Such information will help a lot to build your optimization strategy.
Heikoo is right! When making deposits, make sure to avoid doing them behind a VPN/Proxy connection. Its always best to do it from your actual internet connection and IP.
Looking forward to see some sweet numbers!

Huh, thanks heiko! PN 186 seems like the way to go. Though when I tried to get the PopAds deposit working on mobile, it still didn't go through (I made sure I wasn't on wifi).
So- I had to create a new account on my smart phone connected to data service so that it was recognized not on a VPN (I'm not at home currently and can't control the network settings).

@
platinum Would you literally ask "can I get as much information as possible"? Sorry for such a noob question, but when I followed the guide and asked for CPM's by geo, my AM got back to me that they do CPA, and then sent me a list of the top 10 performing geos.
So I then asked for a breakdown by volume and EPC (per your suggestion).
Is there anything else you would ask a rep from Mobipium?

Many networks are diligent at sending offer statistics on excel spreadsheets. For instance ClickDealer used to send them weekly. So in case you’re not getting such information from the network I would suggest to ask for it.
I would ask the following questions:
- What is the daily/weekly volume the offer is receiving?
- What is the average conversion rate of the offer for the offer network?
- What is the average revenue generated by X, Y, Z offers during the past week.
- What is the average EPC of the offer for the network?
Having such information, will help you estimate a viable optimization strategy, as well as stay away from junk offers.
Also, if you’re promoting offers from multiple networks, then you can merge all networks information in one spreadsheet and start with the most promising ones.

So, another question below (thanks for all the help btw!! I'm still not totally sure how this works - are you a moderator or just being helpful?) :
I messaged my AM about confirming my postback, and she said it was all good, though made the following comment:
I was checking and the postback is perfect. Don’t forget to add our parameters on your side when you create a campaign.
Our parameters are: &tid={yourclickid}&subid={yourpublisherid}
I wasn't sure what the "subid={yourpublisherid}" is. I clicked around on the popads site and they had some helpful information on what these parameters mean under the "performance tracking" section, but I couldn't find one for "subid"
Any clarification?
Thanks!

Hi Teo! @
platinum isn't a mod, but he's extremely helpful and have contributed massively to STM! I've learned so much from him. We should make him an honorary mod - he would more than deserve it!
It's worth noting that since everything is evolving so quickly on Mobipium, a part of the guide may be "outdated". The best thing to do (as platinum has described in detail) would be to ask your AM for clarification - as their requirements etc. are changing literally from one day to the next.
As for tracking parameters: The guide is already step-by-step, so just follow that and you should be fine. You only need a "tid", no need to use the "subid" at this point. Please see page 20 of the guide where I describe how to include "&tid=[IMPRESSIONID]" in your link.
Another thing worth noting: The $1 guide is only meant to provide you with the absolutely easiest and cheapest way to get your first taste on how to run paid traffic. Any profits you can make are minimal because the payouts are so super small compared to the large number of impressions available.
For this reason, I would suggest for you to treat the $1 guide as a fun introduction to paid traffic, rather than something you'll be making profits from.
The 40-day newbie pop tutorial would be the next logical step. You'll learn vital basics such as landing pages, split-testing approaches, statistical significance, campaign stats analysis and campaign optimization.
Those basics will stand you in good stead no matter what other paid traffic you run in the future.
Hope that helps! Please feel free to ask any further questions.

Thanks for the kind words @vortex!
@twilken Vortex is right! You should consider the $1 Guide just as a cheap way of getting familiar with paid traffic. Real money is on individual offers.
My suggestion would be to up your game a bit and running individual offers (not just smartlinks) using a proper tracker and landing pages.

Yup! that certainly does. Still not sure how I would use a subid but I'm guessing I'll learn that in the 40 day guide

appreciate the note!

@vortex @platinum
Thanks for the guide and the suggestions, both of you! especially talking with the AM.
Just looked at the results from the first test cycle and suprisingly there were actually several conversions! I'm at like a -10% ROI for that $3 lol. I think talking with the AM and getting info on what countries are performing well definitely helped.
Let's see if I can make this positive...

Just curious - what are you planning to use the subid to track?

It's fun isn't it?
Just please keep in mind that this method probably won't make you rich. When you're ready, it would be good to learn about landing pages and trackers - the 40-day tutorial would be the next step.

Hello All,
I set up my PopAds account. When I went to add funds it showed the payment processed. Later I checked on my deposit and is said it was "Suspended." Has anyone else had this issue?
I attempted to send an email to their support inbox and only got a message stating their Inbox was full.
The money has already been taking from my credit card.
What should l do? Is there another website that I can run Mobipium SmartLink?
Thanks.

This is very strange! I haven't heard of anyone else having the same issue.
It's been a few days. Have you tried to email again? And have you heard back? Did the "Suspended" status change?
If you go on skype and search for "popads" you'll find a few contacts. Maybe try to get in touch that way.
Failing that: You best bet would be to do a charge back on your credit card.
The $1 guide is a fun way to setting up your first campaign, but not a very viable way to make profits long-term.
I would suggest going through the 40-day newbie tutorial to acquire a more complete basic foundation.
I've never reached out to PopAds other than by email, but I just tried to connect via skype. If I hear back from them I'll let you know!
Please keep us updated on progress in this thread (please don't PM - I don't check those).

I heard back from Tomasz from PopAds!
Here's his reply:
This happens when deposit comes from different country than registration
and to fix it, I'd need to know username
then I can either approve the deposit or refund it
If you're still encountering the issue, please PM me your PopAds username, and update this thread to let me know to check it (otherwise I don't normally check PMs).
