How how long should the first TEST go on Traffic Factory?

Hi guys since I was just learning the gist of TrafficFactory, I realized that my campaigns have been running for over a week and now i'm getting data to analyze.

But I know that there might be burned out banners in there.

For how long do you actually run your campaign to get significant data and at the same time not burn your budget?

Thank you very much in advance for the help!

Can you tell me how much traffic you actually bought from them and in what GEO?

TF is a big source, so if you target a large GEO and bid high enough, you can get enough data to do initial optimizations within a few hours.

In small GEOs and with low bids, you need to run for several days.

Sure I bought like $70 per segment (what I mean by segment is for example TEEN, EBONY etc..) Geo France ... when I didn't know what I was doing my bids were at 0.033 and later on 0.09 on average, after having your help.

Like I started everything in 13 JAN and with your settings 23 JAN.

If you have a moment could you please tell me what's wrong please Like I am putting in the good bids (0.09) and getting like for example 2% in first place, 20% in second place, 13% in third place ... and yet I haven't seen like a WOW difference in quality. The volume is bigger, the spend is bigger but i'm not seeing a big difference in the amount of conversions.

And are the current results like... bad, mediocre... are you losing or seeing some profits?

The early impressions should be performing better, but you also need a good funnel, are you seeing any improvement at all or the performance stays the same, no matter how much you bid?

I'm doing a big loss, but like i've learned I was trying to find a winning profitable combo of Ad/Lander ... 5 Ads and 2 lander ... which I would then put money on xD

Honestly I am getting more volume, spending more but the amount of conversion isn't improving drastically, even if I bid high.

Ok, well the initial phase is about losing money, since you know nothing about your funnel. You might have a bad offer, LPs or banners or all of them at the same time

What's the current ROI you see with your camps?

No actually this funnel and offer was used in push, the first month I made great profits with it, but at some point it started not converting as well, no matter what I tried.

Then I placed it on Adult, thinking that the push had a problem with it's traffic.

Then at first I had some strangely good ROI with it, but 2 or 3 conversions in all ... even if my bids were like 0.035 xD .. then it tanked

Then I read about how to do CPA properly trying to find good combos etc ... and raising bids and all.

Just to tell you on push, without any big knowledge this was bringing me 100% ROI at least.

Now i'm -80% ROI approx on push

And and average of -88% ROI to -65% ROI per segment for Traffic Factory

Hm, maybe the funnel worked with push but it's not good enough for adult banner traffic... but minus 80% is too much for this to be the case.

Or maybe it's the offer that stopped performing ... sometimes, when the quality of the leads is poor, the advertiser will not ask you to stop traffic, but they will start to scrub your leads, which results in worse CVR.

I would suggest to test more offers to see if it makes any difference, because if the problem lies with the offer, there is nothing you can do by changing bids or ads.
