Facebook Ban

Hi - I am new to AM and ran some facebook sweeps (which I guess is against policies?). My ad-account was disabled. I tried to fight the ban but it was upheld. What are my options to get my account back or am I permanently banned?

Your chances of getting the account back is extremely low. You can keep submitting new messages to support asking them to reinstate the account however it is 99% unlikely that you will get it back.

When running offers like sweeps, you must have a lot of back up ad accounts to mitigate against scenarios like bans (which will definitely happen). I suggest you move on and get new ad accounts to resume your sweeps campaign.

Yes agree. I am new so am still trying to figure out what is the right traffic source. It seems that FB is becoming stricter (just a general sense) when it comes to bans

When your Facebook ad account gets banned for the first time, it is quite easy to make an appeal with Facebook. Writing a smart appeal letter (that is relevant to the ads you were promoting), gives you a good chance of getting your account back within 1-2 weeks. This is of course only the case when you haven’t been promoting any extremely aggressive ads. When promoting SOI sweepstakes you should be able to get some accounts back to live.
