Help! Exoclick closed my new account b/c they couldn't verify?

Hi everybody,

I was running Adult traffic on a traffic source and trying to scale to Exoclick cuz I read they have the largest adult traffic for Push.

But I got this email saying they closed my account and they won't tell me what I did wrong!

Can anybody here help me???

What are other adult traffic sources I could try in the meantime?
@matuloo? @exoclick?

As a new client to ExoClick we undertake a number of verification checks to ensure the company and existing clients are not at risk.

We regret to inform you that we were unable to get through this process and your account has been closed. Don't worry, your funds will be returned to you within 1-2 working days!

Please note we do not enter into discussions about the checks we carry out, or what prevented you from working with us.

We do however wish you the best of luck in your future business plans.

Kind regards,
Simon

This is quite a common problem with exoclick, they do reject accounts from time to time... especially from certain GEOs that are known for higher fraud %.

Several people were able to get verified when they met them in public at some conference, they do attend a lot of them. Submitting some references from other well known sources or affiliate networks might help too. But sometimes it's not possible.

However, based on my experience, push traffic in adult often results in poor lead quality so it's better to run standard banner traffic ... there is plenty of it to buy at the other large networks: trafficfactory, trafficjunky, trafficstars, trafficforce, juicyads, plugrush, ero-advertising ... maybe start there.

Note: Quite a few push platforms posted in this thread, some of them should have adult traffic if you still want to go on with that: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ease-hit-me-up!

thats what I heard from one affiliate network, but I've been running SOI offers from ClickDealer, several times now they have increased my lead cap and asked me to scale! So my current theory is the dating ads in the push traffic type are just shit!

I'm in the US GEO, how can that be higher fraud? How can I get my ClickDealer AM to submit a reference for me? I've been doing AM for 4 months now, I have a track record I can use

I had a landing page that mimicked a known newspaper brand. Would that cause problems with Exoclick?

To be honest, that might be the case. But not telling you why you got banned is probably really frustrating. If your up for it, We got tons of direct adult push notification traffic. And if you break our compliance, we would just tell you to change your creative Good luck mate!

Does AdsTerra have a lot of adult traffic?

Hard to say, based on the info I have from affiliate networks, push traffic is totally hit or miss for dating offers, for some people it does work but in most cases it doesn't. Maybe you were lucky ... maybe you really came up with the right ads.

I couldn't know where you come from... I mentioned the GEO as it's usually part of the rejection problem.

This can be the reason yes, with longer running advertisers, they would likely just reject the campaign or issue a temporary suspension but as it was your first campaign (I assume) they probably acted this way.

Ask your AM if they know anyone at exo, many managers know people from the biz. Sometimes a network will be willing to write a refference for you or even send an email ... some have done this for me many years ago when I needed it (due to my country of residence) but it takes a lot of trust, 4 months might not be enough. But you can always try.

Just shoot them an email. They closed my account when I first registered and refunded me. They sent me the same message, and then they reactivated my account. No problems so far.

Sent from my YAL-L21 using STM Forums mobile app

Thanks! So there is hope for me to get my account back.

I actually already sent them an email. So here are my questions for you:
1. What email address did you send to?
2. roughly how long did you have to wait to hear a reply?
3. what should I say in my email?

My email was to help@exoclick.com, about 20 hours ago, with content: "What can I do to get my account verified? I can provide a passport, picture IDs of credit cards…"

Re: matuloo: yes it was a new account

Hi everybody,

My issue was resolved successfully. An affiliate manager gave me the business card of an Exoclick account manager. So I contacted her directly. She suggested I make a 2nd account for them to get a fresh review. They banned this 2nd account. Then I emailed help@exoclick.com saying that the exoclick account manager told me to make a 2nd account. They apologized for the mistake and I finally got an Exoclick account.

Hope this helps others.
