What will the impacts of this be on Affiliate marketing? Sorry if this is a noobie question. I'm assuming it will be very bad for many advertisers.

I think there are many ways to interpret this news, I’m looking forward to hearing thoughts from others.

The following is my $2.02 cents

If you’re smart, you be quickly figuring out how to not be the 3rd party (affiliate or the network).

I predict we’ll see more full stack advertisers moving forward. They will own the offer, and generate demand/sales internally without the need for networks and affiliates. The fb and google algorithms keep getting smarter, so it’s become increasingly easy to buy ads successfully without being highly skilled.

I understand there’s an art and science to it, but a lot of ad buying on fb & google basically involves letting the algorithm do the work, anyone can do that.

The easy days are coming to an end, on the bright side, you have almost 2 years to prepare
