Hi guys,
Got approached with an agency that have VPN comparison sites.
They are looking to promote it on Facebook and offer around 50$ CPA (!!!)
I know many promote VPN on pop/redirect/push traffic sources and not sure if its event acceptable in Facebook.
Anyone have experience with it? thoughts?
Cheers,
Kinan
P.S - I'm gonna give it a try anyway
Anyone?
I have never tried it on FB but I know it's huge on Push these days.
I guess the fastest way is to give it a go on a FB account you don't mind losing in case it goes wrong.
- check if their domains arent flagged yet
- make sure the lander doesn't have too much scammy words (spy, anonymous etc), but also not too many promotional text (free, discount)
- the product is allowed and does not appear on lists of forbidden products/services from what I know
- but your angle can spoil the party ofcourse. be careful with words which are hard for FB to measure (best, cheapest etc).
I didn´t try it myself but I see many VPN ads on FB so it should be allowed.
But one thing is, I never saw an ad for a comparison website.
All ads I see are direct to the VPNs.
In the ads and on the offer pages they show special deals, discounts and stuff.
I also see wording like "Very Fast Speed" instead of "Fastest Speed".
So I guess when the creatives and the comparison site don´t make exaggerated claims and use facts like "75% off" or "Special Deal: $50 off for 1 year subscription" it should be ok.
