Start Vortex' 40-Day Tutorial with 2000$

Dear every one, my name Anh. I am Vietnamese, my english is not very good so please sympathize with me.
I have completed the day 5-6. I have tested 7 offers but no offers are eligible for check by Kill-Whitelist Calculator.
But I still keep finding and checking offers on Mobidea follow the instruction.

My current costs:

588$ Voluum for 1 year
1.8$ domain namcheap
100$ propellerads
0$ mobidea

Thank you everyone for your interest.

Hey Anh, thanks for starting a follow along.

Add few dollars to your cost for LP domains.

Just get a bunch of cheap domains (.xyz, .website, .online or similar) so that you have replacement domains in case your domain gets banned.
That can happen on Pops more often than on other traffic.

I will try to keep an eye on your FA for an update and to see how your progress is going.

It would be great when you could post more details, then we can give you much better help.

For example it would be good to know about numbers of offers in the campaigns, number of landers, your bids and all such stuff.

This would make it much easier to track down where the issues in your campaigns are, what is doing good and what not, what could be improved and all such stuff.

Of course you can also just post updates but then the FA would probably be just a journal.

Dear twinaxe, thank for your help.
This my more detail:

I set each offer for a campaign, about landers Currently I have not run the lander because I am following the instructions https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ntro-and-Index and I am doing Day 5-6: Optimizing a Direct-Linked Pop Campaign - ACTION - Part 1 and Part 2. But I still haven't found any eligible offers from the Kill-Whitelist Calculator.
You think I should continue reading other articles while searching for eligible offers to optimize.

I set the bid between maximum and minimum:

and here is some information I set campaign:

Thanks alot, looks much better already.

What are the offer payouts?
From your first screenshot it seems the payouts are about $0.10-$0.20.

When that´s the case then you spent way too much for 17 offers and $200 adspend.
Especially when you didn´t even use landers.

Also what kind of offers do you test?
Direct linking itself has gotten pretty hard but it can work for some verticals like mobile content.

So it also depends on what you run if direct linking make sense.

Of course it´s good to run some direct linked campaigns first when you are completely new to it.
That way you have one variable less to take care of.

But try to run with LPs as soon as possible.

I set the bid between maximum and minimum:

Seems you also bid too high.

It´s correct that you shouldn´t bid too low so that you receive good traffic already and not only the cheap and non-converting traffic.

But I usually bid just a bid higher than recommended.

That more than enough in most cases.

It seems that you are running CPM bids.

Please use SmartCPM, that will save you lots of money.

On CPM you set your bid and pay the same price for all placements, no matter if the placement is good or not.

On SmartCPM you set your bid and pay dynamic price for different placements.
There the bid you set is the maximum you pay but mostly you wil pay less.

I would recommend to not use all of the tracking macros, try to keep your stuff as simple as possible.

In the end you only need the {cost} and the {zoneid} macros.
The {clickID} you only need when you want to post conversions back to Propeller.

But you don´t need all the other macros, you can see all these things in your tracker as well.

Try to also target by language, native language from the Geos as well as English.

Can help to increase quality.

Thanks for your experience, it is very valuable to me.

What are the offer payouts?
I usually choose offer price from 0 to 1.5 $

Also what kind of offers do you test?
my offer test is:
For "Categories", choose "Games (CPA)" and also "Videos (CPA)" and "Direct Billing, Single Optin" or "Direct Billing, Double Optin"

In the end, I will start testing landers because I think being able to direct links is too hard to make a profit.

Thank you very much twinaxe.

That´s a good decision.

Direct linking can be good to learn the absolute basics how to set up a campaign.

But it´s a good diea to start with landers as soon as possible.

It also gives you more control over the funnel and can help alot to improve the performance.

Thanks Anh for starting this follow-along!

I just want to agree with you and @twinaxe that it would be a good idea to start using landing pages.

For a long time, 1-click and 2-click offers have not been performing well in general. Recently, I heard that good offers are coming back on the market, especially for Asian geos. I don't run these myself anymore, so don't know which offers are good, but you can try to ask your affiliate managers for good offers to test.

However, that can wait until later. For now, you've already tested many 1-click and 2-click offers by direct-linking. That's more than enough.

Learn how to test landing pages. They will give you one more variable to test and optimize to increase your ROI.

Hi @vortex, @twinaxe. Today i approved voucher offer for lander. But but when I searched for the keyword "voucher airplane, voucher, voucher jetstart, ...", it found no results. So should I skip this offer?

Hey Anh,

you don't need to search specific landers for every offer you run.

Just get landers for the vertical you run from Adplexity and then customize the landers for your offer.

From your post it seems that you want to run leadgen sweeps so in that case just get some sweep landers from Adplexity and change them for your offer.

It doesn't really matter if the landers on Adplexity are for iPhone, Samsung or McDonald's gift cards.

Just get landers for your vertical (for example spin wheel, questionnaire etc) and then change text and images to match your offer.

Hey there, sorry to hear that.

It´s hard to say what went wrong there but unluckily these things can happen from time to time.

You can try to send them an email and trying to explain what you want to run so that there can´t be any misunderstandings.
Or you can try to send them a message HERE, maybe then you can sort it out together.

Try calling them and talk to someone at Clickdealer. Good luck

Clickdealer would often reject very new affiliates. They're more looking for affiliates that have some experience.

Don't worry about it. There are lots of other networks you can start with.

When you have more experience, apply to Clickdealer again.

In this industry, we need to get used to rejections.

Rejections from affiliate networks, campaigns getting rejected on traffic networks, landing pages getting rejected by advertisers...

There are always other options.
