Hey,
I had someone create a landing page for me.. it didn't go entirely to plan. The guy did a good job and all that but I think he has anger issues or something and treated me like dirt when I asked him about running a certain script. I specifically requested in the job notes that I needed this certain script but he never included it.. took my money and ran - it wasn't exactly cheap. He called me a liar!! LOL. F*** it. I'm not bothered.. I have some nice html.
BUT.. now the code is 10x bigger than what I originally gave him.. I get that it looks much more complex but can you understand that I don't trust him??
Is there a way for me to know what I should be looking for in this code that could mess me about in future?
Hi.
Sorry for your bad experience. It usually comes down to how well are the specs written for the developer to understand. It is not easy as it seems Just saying "add this script" makes no sense. He may have added it actually (which is why the code is bigger). You have to precisely describe what the landing is doing and the interaction with the script.
Without knowing the landing before and after and the specs, it is difficult to help you more. Share them and we can have a look.
