How do I do this?

Hey guys. We are Muscle Gelz and are new to this forum.

We just started an affiliate program.

My questions:
How do we recruit really great affiliates?
How do we keep them happy?

Here’s our commission structure. Tell us what we should change:

Tier 1: 30%
Tier 2: 10%

Any advice would extremely help.

Thanks!

Lang

Typically an affiliate will expect to get paid pretty much the average of the entire sale on the initial checkout page, you are then able to try and recoup the cost of product and get some margin from any post purchase upsells

Hey Nick. Thanks for the reply. It seems we are in a better position for the affiliate then because we are paying 30% per product.

Isn’t that better then just a percentage of the entire order?

How’s 30% better. Lets say I buy 5x 30 dollar gel product.

My commission will be 150 dollar with others.. 30% of 30 dollar times 5 = 45/50 dollar...right?

Ok I see what you mean but in the fitness industry 30% commissions are really high.

Musclegelz products range from $50-$70. Plus getting 10% from any partners or accounts the parent affiliate sends is also not heard of in this industry.

It’s hard for a fitness business to pay 30% of an entire order because of the costs involved.

In other industries I can see how that works.

We are the most aggressive commissions in this industry for sure but how do we get affiliates involved in partnering with us?

We are very teams driven and can provide whatever they need but what’s the best way to get the word out?

Thanks!
