Hey everyone, since i do value your time i will try to make this post as short as possible.
I am thinking about building a blog about dating, run facebook/bing ads to bring traffic to an interesting article in my blog and get people to sign up to my email list where i have an e-mail funnel sequence ready for them, then get them to sign up to a dating website and make commissions out of it. As you have probably noticed, i am not trying to reinvent the wheel, but i got a few questions:
-What do you think of this method ? i know it's been around for years but does this approach still make sense in 2020 ?
-Should i display an offer for those who have just subscribed in the Thank You page or would it just scare them off ?
-Should i just promote one dating site and tell my subscribers "This Is the ONE", or have multiple offers ready for them ?
-How many value emails should i send before the hook ?
-Should every value email i send be about Dating in General, or be specific about Online Dating so that it would make more sense when i propose a dating site ?
If you could share with me your opinion it would really mean alot to me. Thanks
Just a thought, you could do an in-depth, personal review of each dating network, and drip feed that to your list, fx
Network - verylegalgirlsuk.com
Active girls per day - 5k
Active gays per day - 500
Active guys per day - 50k
"I have spent roughly 5 hours on their page and it's pretty straightforward to use, you can upload up to 3 photos ( or more if you are a paid member), you can filter by age, hair color (which is a pretty cool feature I like gingers *wink* *wink*) and many other filters to find the one.
In 5 hours I have messaged about 30 girls, and we exchanged more private photos with a couple of those, and one girl even agreed to meet me for coffee today, so far it's been much smoother than tinder , here's the link if you are on the hunt!"
Boy am I a bad copywriter hahaha
Facebook has an extremely aggressive stance towards dating ads, so you’d have to be very careful to not get banned. I think it would be pretty tricky to rely on that as a traffic source
I like the idea of taking an adult quiz style lander having the questions actually be real. A bit like the buzzfeed “what animal are you” type ones, where it suggests perhaps 3 final sites with their reasons. You can still be pretty sexy with the questions later on, to get them excited.
Thanks guys for your replies !!
If anyone would like to drop some more advice, please do !
