Landing Page ???? (5)
There is one area that I have some trouble with that never seems to get much coverage, and that is the Landing pages... While I am not new to affiliate marketing, I am new to CPV. Most of my experience is in on and off page SEO, both with websites and with blogs, and I have done OK promoting with PPC and SEO. I realize that thinking outside the box and finding related URL’s and Keywords make up the majority of the work involved with setting up a successful PPV campaign, however, the area I need help in is LP design. I know the page needs to be 750 x 500, but setting the page up is never addressed in any kind of detail. A lot of these offers require a LP. How do you set it up? Can I copy the merchant’s html and edit the page? Should I have a email capture on my lander and look for pre-pop offers, or should I just have a call to action button that takes you to the offer page. If I have a domain, say abc.com, could I keep adding pages to that domain with each page a different offer? ie, abc.com/bestbuyoffer.html…abc.com/autoinsurance.html, etc. and we haven’t even addressed setting up the link from the offer.
Many questions here that I wouldn’t have a problem setting up, just need a little direction as I can’t afford to outsource every lander at this time. Any help in this area would be appreciated!! Thanks

The best way to get yourself familiar with what landers work and how people go about them is be looking over the case studies and follow along campaigns. If there is a certain offer you want to run or niche I can give you tips on how to create your lander.
The tough part is there are no set rules "it depends". It depends on the niche and the type of offer. If you narrow down what you are looking to promote I could be a lot more helpful 
I have a question to add - some people are building a list and sending the viewer to an offer as well. Can you explain how this is done?

there are various ways in which you can do this.
for example you could create a lander with an email capture form, and setting say aweber up in such a way that it redirects to your 'campaign click URL'.

On the pages I have live, I linked the Get Free Quote to my link and not sure if this is how it needs to be done. Sounds too simple, and can't figure out how to track this setup with prosper...but that's another issue
