Hey guys!
Hope you all are doing well and alive after AWA
And today we have an interesting question on the agenda. Is mobile content still working today? And is there any chance to be successful in running pin submit offers in 2020?
It would be especially awesome to hear the opinion of guys who are in this niche for more than one year.
Many thanks
Yes. I even heard some big geo's like FR and USA are coming back. Not sure how the flow will go but those are huge potentials! Voucher/iphone sweeps also still some interesting countries at the moment live. And I expect the UK in 2020 get more interesting for pin submits/similar flows.
I talked with reps of 2 networks that focus on mobile and carrier billing at AWA, couple days aog, both told me that it seems to be coming back a bit lately and that they were doing nice numbers in 2019. But its obviously not as easy as it used to be, it requires a different approach and lot's of stuff is not allowed anymore ... but yeah, looks like the carriers are missing the revenue and want to reclaim at least a part of it again.
This sounds good.
Nowadays there are also still good Pin submits available but unluckily only in few Geos.
Probably it would be help already when there are also Pin submits instead of 2 clicks with Captcha or so in some high volume lower Tier Geos.
Also it seems that there are more IVR offers availabe for quite some time already.
On a small scale pin submits still work for me in ZA.
But.
It's inconsistent and fluctuates wildly.
But.
I keep coming back to them every few weeks and they still convert well.
Like matuloo, during AWA I spoke to some network reps as well and heard that carrier billing mobile content offers seem to be making a comeback.
According to one of them (thanks Mr. Just de Bruine from the Telefuture network), mobile carriers, after tightening their regulations on this type of offers, saw a massive decline in profits - thus have gradually become more lenient again. And of course advertisers are catching on and taking advantage.
Also according to the same gentleman, Asia is where a lot of the best offers are at.
I haven't run these myself in a long time - just passing on what I heard. Please do your own due diligence and testing to find out.

Thank you all!
Yes,, we're trying to develop this vertical.
But first we'd like to deepen our knowledge in the niche.
Keep in touch!
The mobile content vertical is one of our main verticals in the last 12 years. We saw many countries getting hit by regulations. US was huge with mobile content ~10 years ago and it is dead for many years now. FR and NL used to be giant markets for us but are completely dead due to regulations. The UK is struggling too with Empello that is filtering the traffic. Germany will suffer from that too very soon.
I really hope that the US and FR will come back, but I assume that the flow will be very hard so I doubt if it will convert...
Sometimes the carriers want to get more sales but they can't really go against regulations of the country in tier 1 countries. Too risky for them.
That is why the focus we have with mobile content offers is in Asia and East Europe. Flows are easy and regulations are not strong yet. Sweeps, generic downloads and game guides (like Fortnite) are doing the best.
