How to integrate lookalike pixel with your favorite tracker? (5)

Hello guys,

I am quite familiar with setting up my tracker in a familiar "direct" fashion: traffic source-> lp-> offer

But when I want the traffic source to get more information such as Facebook its lookalike audiences and at the same time manage the traffic flow and conversion via the tracker how do I do it?

I guess S2S won't really work here. And although many tracker offer img pixel can I just add the code of FB look alike audience somewhere to the snippet of the racking pixel?

Prosper202 has a FB pixel assistant feature that will take care of setting up the pixel correctly on your landing pages.

I guess I was not very precise here. I was not concerned with setting up the FB pixel on my lp pages but on the aff network, so it fires only on CR.

If the network allows pixels then it’s simply a matter of giving them your fb pixel.

The problem is that if you make the mistake of having your pixels placed on an offer that gets banned by Facebook. For example other affiliates could be too aggressive, or the offer owner may do shady stuff behind the scenes that eventually gets it flagged for banning on Facebook.

Now your pixel is linked to that offending domain and opens up the potential to get your account shutdown too.

The general fix is to only load pixels on your server. But that means you can’t track conversions back to FB. The quality of your lookalikes go down the drain and you waste a ton of cash in the process.
