I recently rejoined STM. Many years ago I was on here while taking John Crestani's super affiliate course.
Haven't done any internet marketing in years so im sure things have changed massively. i was doing health niches before.
Currently I am presented with the opportunity to work with a solar company to create leads for them through phone calls or form submission.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to people already doing this or what may be the best types of traffic to start with given whatever changes have happened over the last years.. that would be helpful.
(the only other thing is that I would need to be able to target specific cities in California)

I've never promoted solar myself, but thought I'd at least bump the thread to fish for responses from other members.
For your type of offers, FB and Adwords would be obvious choices. Fb's lead gen campaign option comes to mind - leads can be collected on FB directly without visitors even leaving FB. I had some success with it when it first came out, but never had a chance to explore it further (got distracted by other stuff).
I would also suggest subscribing to an FB spy tool to see how other people are promoting this type of offers - there are discounts to such tools in the discounts subforum:

Hey I know James Van Elswyk and Purple Leads crew were crushing with solar and as far as I remember they were running on Native and FB, not sure if they run somewhere else ( Snapchat/Push? ) but you should check that out and ask in their FB group maybe someone is willing to point you in right direction.
