Its good to be back at the forums finally, I am posting after a long time, I always believe in giving back to the community I learned from. I moved to the UK from UAE earlier this year, And in the past few years, Apart from CPA Offers, I tried to work on long term business strategies that help me build long term income streams and build web assets that have actual value.
When Promoting mainstream CPA Offers I realized the majority of offers don't provide much value to the customers and as a result of that, you lose trust with them especially if you are building mailing lists.
So I started looking for brands and products which are good and reputable and also I started looking for local companies I can work with.
When I started reaching out to businesses I realized it was very hard to attract top brands and small companies had their own issues for example on lead gen campaigns some companies had poorly trained sales teams etc ... For instance one of my solar leads clients didn't have anyone in sales and that affected my conversion rates, as well as my arrangement with the advertiser, which was based on sales.
So I came up with a foot in the door strategy which always worked for me and even allowed me to provide services to the governments as well.
The first thing I did was to create a blog you can see it here https://www.dxbblog.ae/ basically a city-themed blog where I shared info about Dubai and we positioned it as "Dubai's No 1" Blog ( created a good media kit) ... now I shared content and subsequently reached out to companies I wanted to work with asking to be put in touch with their PR/Marketing managers through their social media and asked them to put me into their blogger lists for any future events, etc ... Once they did that I arranged meetings with them offering lead gen/aff model business deals ...
The fact that they knew me as a blogger etc helped me to close deals with them very easily and at better rates ...
Using this technique I worked exclusively with many UAE based and Intl companies and even helped a Govt with their tourism awareness campaign ... While working with PRs I always learned a lot from them as well and how big companies arrange their launches etc and manage their marketing overall ...
Now as I moved to the UK I am going to do the same and hopefully will keep you guys posted ...

Very clever strategy!
First you offer them something they want: feature in a blog when they need to spread the word about whatever they are launching.
Next step is to offer them additional services (lead gen) and since they already believe you can provide value, they are more likely to do more business with you.
