Do Trackers Work With Facebook Without Flagging Their Platform?

Can we use a tracker with Facebook without them flagging or banning your account?

If so, what is the most cost effective one that is easy to setup for a newbie?

Yes it’s possible, yet risky. Better use a static fresh domain (some prefer aged ones) and put the tracker on the CTA at the prelander. I am sure there are ways to catch enough data with certain tactics. Others better chime jn on that.

Ok cool, thanks..

I'm getting nice conversions on new offer but can't track which lander it is from (split testing 2)

Would also be good if I could track which ads are pulling in the conversions (all ad sets have similar stats)

It's not just tracker which is the problem, The biggest problem is your affiliate network link ... You can ask your network to provide you clean aff links though ...

Like @kjrocker said, the tracker isn't the main problem - you can always use a clean tracker domain. It's the aff links that FB doesn't like.

Some aff networks allow select affiliates to run using zero-redirects, by embedding your FB pixel on their offer pages instead of using aff links. But if one affiliate makes a wrong move (e.g. runs aggressive and gets flagged) then it's game over for everyone - at least until the aff network moves the offer to another domain.

That is still the safest way as far as I'm aware. I'm actually doing some testing in this area - if I find out more, will come back to update.

We would also suggest integrated landings as FB doesn't like any additional redirects at all

Or you can go even a step further and avoid any redirects - use redirectless tracking.
