Does Low Payout Offers Work on Push?
Hi Guys,
Q1- Does Low payout (8 cent to $1.50) offers do good on Push Traffic? If yes, which kind(vertical) of offers and in which Geos they can work?
Q2. Which Push network has interest based targetting options? I recently tried to run Nutra(Joint Cure) offer($15) on AdMaven in Vietnam geo(0.005 click), spent $20, got 4k clicks, but got 0 lead. So I stopped it. So it seems, because Admaven doesn't offer interest-based targetting, running Nutra can be difficult here. Previously I ran Mobile Content $4 offers on Admaven and got decent results.
Q3. In the long run how does it work- I mean, not any 1 Push Network seem to be perfect. Everyone might have its own pros and cons, strong geos etc. So, if we want better results, we have to try 4-5 Push networks and find the suitable offers for each network and run them??
And can you guys tell me what you think is the strong point about Admaven? I haven't tried any other network yet, so I can't compare myself.
Thanks

Low payout offer definitely do work with push traffic, but in the end, it all depends on the specific flow. 8 cent offers would have to convert extremely well or the traffic would have to be extremely cheap. I'd look at offers paying 50 cents or more, if not more.

I don't think that any network with solid volumes has any meaningful interest based targeting, you gotta go broad and use offer that can convert such wide range of surfers. Or try to be VERY specific with your ads, in order to pre-filter the traffic.

Exactly, you pretty much have to try as many networks as possible and find out which ones work the best with the offers you promote. I don't think admaven is specifically strong in any specific area... it's just another push network with a wide range of users that you can try to convert. In the end, it's more about the publishers that they get the clicks from than anything else. But maybe the @

They can work.
I just have some campaigns profitable with $0.20 payout running.
But to make it really worth it you need to run on high volume.
Right now I push few hundred conversions a day to these campaigns but will try to scale to other sources and geos for more volume.
About interest targeting, I also don't know a push platform who supports it.
You rather build the interest targeting yourself with your creatives so that only interest users click through.

Agree with the above that it can work but its all a matter of scale.
There are push sources that supposedly have something similar to interest targeting but haven't found them to be overly effective. Also if you have an account manager you can ask them for WL suggestions for your vertical as well but again I've mostly gone the route of developing my own WL.

Well AdMAven's take on push is this: EVERYTHING WORKS TO SOME EXTENT! Didn't mean to shout, but it's true. Push is extremely am straight forward ad format. You are dealing with actual users that opted in to receive ads, it's not like pop/native/banner where the domain is extremely important to match the offer you are running to the site you are promoting it on. If a user opted in on an adult site does that mean all he wants to receive is adult ads and that encapsulates he's field of interest? The answer obviously is no. We got for instance about 330 million daily active users which we have gathered carefully for the pest year and a half or so. These users have opted on File sharing sites, Adults sites, streaming sites from all over. We try and create a for that user a demand package that is diverse to see what works. You start shooting everything and see what sticks. To be honest, networks that advertise that they got Sweepstakes traffic or Casino traffic might be misleading statement since you can't really ever vouch for that. Just because a user opted in on a site that is more sweepstakes oriented site, he might not want to see just sweepstakes. The users are not gullible, they want to see more. So always test a verity of offers that really create a diversity of offers that can work.

We are running our in house dating 1 click offers with payouts of 0.12 - 0.20. We were easily able to scale it with 40% + ROI on Push traffic. So payout doesn't really depend if the offer converts well. We have tested this in Tier 3 countries .
