First campaign 735k views but 0 conversions

Hi everyone. Yesterday I runned my first campaign. Today, I checked the stats and there are these issues:

Name:	STM.JPG
Views:	29
Size:	35.9 KB
ID:	22474
On PropellerAds there are 700k+ views but 0 conversions.
On Voluum and Clickdealer the campaign has 0 visits.

Have I to add manually the creative of the offer on the HTML code of the LPs? Or what other things I wrong?

Did you check if the funnel is complete?? and that you are using the right tracking?? Also with the VPN in the specific country?? It had happened to me before? Did you add your TL to the LP through Sublime text?? Happened to me before

VPN has nothing to do with it when he has 0 visits in his tracker.
Same with landing page code, the issue has to be directly between trafficsource and tracker.
And usually the only connecting element is the tracking link so I guess that´s the problem.

@robertomark

You are running Push traffic so the 735k are impressions, that means that your Push ads were shown 735k times.

This resulted in 710 clicks, that´s how often a user really clicked your ads.

So in your tracker you should see around 710 visits for this campaign.

But with the info you provide it´s impossible to tell what exactly went wrong.
Please share more details, then we can help you much better.

When you see 0 visits in your tracker then obviously your campaign tracking link doesn´t work so that the user doesn´t arrives at your tracker.
Please post your link here so that we can check it.
Did you test the link before you created the campaign?
If yes, did it work when you tested it?

Probably it´s just a little thing that causes the issue but the more info you provide the easier is it to give you the help you need

Also see that you pay VAT on Propeller Ads.
Give them your VAT number and you won´t have to pay VAT = 20% higher profit for you

At what stage do you need a VPN? Did not get you there. Do we need a VPN at all?

A VPN is used to emulate a country, so you want to pretend you're a surfer from a specific GEO. We do this when we want to check an offer that has GEO redirects in place, which most do.

For example, when promoting an offer that requires traffic from India and you're located in Germany, you want be able to see the offer as it will redirect you to another "fallback" offer that can convert German traffic. So in order to get to the actual Indian offer, you need a VPN to simulate you're actually surfing from India.

So VPN is quite useful when you want to structure your funnels to actually match the offer lander OR when you want to verify that the funnel/offer works properly.

My POSTBACK URL in Voluum is
http://track.(name of my domain).com/postback?cid=REPLACE&payout=OPTIONAL&txid=OPTIONAL

No, I didn´t mean the postback URL.

I mean your Voluum campaign link that you used in Propeller.

When you have 0 visits in your tracker it means that no users arrived there.
And this means that most probably your campaign lik is not working properly.

When you used the postback URL in Propeller it can´t work.
The postback is only to send conversion info back to Propeller Ads.

You need to use the campaign link from Voluum.

I just checked my Campaign URL and if I open the link on google appear me an error page "track.(mydomain).com . This site can't be reached. Server IP adress could not be found".
I checked the "Domain" section in Voluum and I noticed that on the "custom domains" section there is a yellow triangle near the link.

Can be this the issue??

It seems that you didn´t set up the DNS for the custom domain properly so that it can´t be reached.

Did you do this?

You need to "connect" your domain to Voluum before you can use it.

@Voluum has great support, so I would advice to contact them in case you're having problem with setting up the tracking, they can check your account directly and tell you what's wrong.

Hey @robertomark

Feel free to reach out to our support with the campaign name (support@Voluum.com or via chat in the panel (chat is a new functionality we're still testing so right now it's only available in the first month of using Voluum, you'll find it in the left bottom corner if you're our new user)), they'll check your tracking setup for errors.

You'll also find me on Skype by karolina@Voluum.com if you want to chat.

I think I found the problem. Following the @vortex guide, in day 1 I set CNAME with host -> "track" and value -> "my_voluum_domain".
On day 18 of the guide I switch from Namecheap BasicDNS to Custom DNS creating Route 53 record on AWS. I think the problem is to have eliminated the CNAME of day 1 in this step, but I don't know how to fix it.

So, the volume that saw your ad is impressive, however your CTR is super super low. You need to work on a better angle and/or creative.
Other than that we cant really say more, these are the stats of your ad. But your pre-lander is really where the conversions comes in. So thats the stats we need to analyze.

Looks like you're using Voluum, quote me a screenshot of your Voluum dashboard for this campaign and I can try to give you a few pointers mate.
