From Profit to Loss Campaigns??

Hi,
I direct linked 2 Mobidea offers and sent Push traffic- Mobile content(Videos/Game), offers with $4 payout(Carrier Billing).
In both cases, I got first sale after around $2.5 spend- 70% ROI roughly.
In both cases, I got 2nd sale after another $3 spend- 60% ROI roughly.
But then in both cases I didn't get 3rd sale even after spending $10 in each case.
So ROI was roughly -50%, so then I stopped sending traffic.

I had tried to optimize based on Browser version(Mobidea stats), but it didn't help.

So what should I do in these kinds of situations, where I start with quick profit, but then loss slowly, slowly?
And does optimizing based on Browser version or device model really work? Because Chrome is Chrome- why any particular version should perform better for me?
Actually after optimizing Browser versions(I just kept 4 best performing browser versions running, stopped all others), I didn't get any sale. So could you explain this situation, why others got sale for that version, but I didn't?
Thanks

With so low stats you don't even need to think about optimizing.
It's way too less data.

Also a fluctuation in performance is just normal.
And when you only have 2 conversions then every conversion more or less has huge impact on "performance".

When you run on volume and generate few hundred or 1k Conversions per day it doesn't matter if it's 5 more or less than the previous day.

Actually after optimizing Browser versions(I just kept 4 best performing browser versions running, stopped all others)
This can't even work.
You only have TWO Conversions so how can you have FOUR best performing browser versions.

Really, I can't remember only one campaign where I optimized on browser version level.
Don't waste your time with such micro optimization.

Give the campaign more time to collect stats and either it works or not.
Calculate a tets budget, let campaign run, check if it's good to continue or not.

But don't waste time with such small stuff and don't change random stuff hoping that it helps.
It only makes your testing process more complicated.

As said above, you have no data yet.

You simply need to spend more and gather more data and conversions before you can make some conclusions.
